Did You Make Someone Smile Today .........!

We are so absorbed in our own thoughts that even in dreams all we see is OUR desires getting fulfilled!
C'mmon, have you looked around today on your way to work to find a soul who just wanted some kind words from you, who wanted just a couple of your busy moments to tell what exactly was eating him/her. Did you make him smile as you left? Did you see God's smiling face in him/her?
Subtle are the things in our life that have the power to change our life forever!
No matter how preoccupied I am, I make it a point to just have a look at small living/non-living things around me. And not just look at it, I appreciate it's presence, it's very existence. It helps me to divert my self-centric mind and also I learn to be appreciative about everything that adds up to what we call LIFE!!

today I laugh out loud with my daughter. I ask her to play some game and she looks very smiley and happy today. I love to see her smiley & happy face

I agree with you. I too have a 5 yrs old daughter who is more attached to me than anyone else. Whenever I make her feel happy, I feel my life to be worthwhile.
When you make someone smile, you instantly know that you are closer to God.

I believe I did make someone smile today. That someone is my beloved girlfriend. Today we are here at the library in our campus. She is supposed to be here to study for her test next week, while I am here to complete my assignment at the same time to Mylot of course. However, I keep on talking about something funny and make jokes which she cannot stop paying attention to what I have to say and she laughed quietly as we are in the library.

It feels good to make someone smile. It is just like being an angel to someone. But you don't need to be an angel to do that. Just speak kind things to anyone you meet and for sure you will make that person smile.
This morning my adorable twin made me smile. They are so adorable and sweet. As they smiled and kissed me, it mean the world to me. They never fail to make my world happy. Yes they made me smile mostly.

Yes i did. The first people i smiled was me :) and followed by my kids and husband next is my friend and when i went out of our home i smiled to people i saw and greet them 'good morning'. What a happy feelings if we smile and extend it with others. A simple smile will make others great and sometimes it saves life. It is free so let's give them our sweetest smile to adds happiness. I love encouraging and helping people and making them smile,but today I did not do anything like that.In fact,I could not do so.Last night was a sleepless night for me.I failed to close my eyes even for a second.I kept trying to sleep,but sleep remained elusive.Today I have been feeling dull,sleepy and fed up since morning.So I did not go anywhere.Thus no question of making someone smile arises,at least for today.

Hard to say, my neighbour came to complain about the young dog, although it's only here for a short time, not an animal to pity about plus I never complain about his daily scolding at his wife (which doesn't make me and my kids happy). He also loves to renovat his house early in the morning esp. in the weekend incl. Sundays.
My son did make me happy, so did my daughters. The youngest two did make the new bike together which was delevered early in the morning and helped cleaning the house. My elderly daughter tried again to fix my laptop. I think I will go make the dog happy by walking with it for a while and after that myself taking a sunbath. Tomorrow I will make the kids at scouting happy.

Hi,
i like your thoughts. Everyone is struggle in life for finding happiness. And in the want of searching happiness he becomes self centric., selfish. But we should try to help others and make them smile. Smile on others face also makes us happy. Nature teaches us to make sacrifice for others. Like sugarcane gives us sweet juice after squeezing, Sandal gives us beautiful smell after rubbing it. Thus we should learn how to help others.

I plan to make my boyfriend smile today :) It's his birthday and i plan to do him a little surprise :) It's true, we need to keep on smiling everyday because the life is short, we should enjoy what we have in present, in our search for happiness we forget to see what is really important... simple things, like a smile can make us happy :)
