One friend of mine asks me what is the feeling of having a grandchild. He is wondering if there is a difference between own child and the grandchild. I told him I think there is no difference it's the same to me I love and treat them equally. My kids are not spoiled brats so with my grandson even he is only 2 years old I'm not spoiling him I'm just doing what is best for him. Only now I feel that I'm new again in taking care of a child since my youngest is already 16 years old now.
Your take mylotter what's your experience is there any difference between?

I certainly hope that I have many years to go before I'm a grandmother because my children are only ten and six years old. However, I do know that there have been some things that both my mother and my in-laws have said are the main differences between being a mother and being a grandmother is that you are able to spoil the grandchildren and send them home. In addition to that, they both like the fact that they don't have to deal with the children when they are ill. They say they get to enjoy the fun of the children but they don't have to be there for the trials of parenting.

Hmm I think for me it's still different for the one whole month that my grandson stayed here I become her mother same as what I also done with kids when they are still young. I think it runs in our tradition being depended on their parents even they have their own family.

I think it's a blessing to have grandchildren and the good thing is they always go home! lol.....I have 4 grandkids aging from 1 year old to 20 years old and I love them like I love my children. I think it's awesome to have grandkids.

It is really a blessing that at my age now I enjoyed him very much.

It's inexpressible, I think more than the feelings when our first child came to being. Don't get me wrong, when our child was born I felt ecstatic because we have been blessed but if it's a grandchild the feeling is more.
