I could not sleep last night! Finally once I got another blanket I seemed comfortable enough I guess. I was twisting and turning. Its always harder to fall asleep on nights I work because its on the internet then i stay up longer with the computer. I am being tested for sleep apnea, i hope i have it actually i know i do. sometimes i wake up in the night and im sitting straight up possession? no, probably just trying to breath. If I get the CPAP machine and can sleep more fully I will be happier and it'll be easier to lose weight this is what i hope!! Do you have or know someone with sleep apnea? Are the machines uncomfortable? And what do you do to fall asleep?

I do have it, but cannot sleep with it on. I start off fine, but after I fall asleep, I rip it off and in the morning it is on the floor. Good luck.

I do not, after about 4 months of trying to sleep with it, I gave up. I have the mask that goes over the face.

My sister in law has sleep apnea and she is on the machine at night. I would think it would be uncomfortable, they look like it but she sleeps just fine with hers on every night. She said it took a few days to get used to it but once she did she slept fine. And her husband sleeps a lot better too knowing she won't stop breathing in the middle of the night.

my mother took a month to get used to hers, shes not on it anymore since she had gastric bypass. but i hope the tests get checked out soon, i have been ripping the nose thing for the test off in my sleep! so were having trouble with the diagnosis. but if i get the machine i hope i dont rip it off too!

i have a machine and i find that it helps. i used to wake up so achy and tired and now it is less so. it took me a little while to get used to it but i found once i did get used to it, it really improved my sleep. the machines are not cheap and in Canada, the government covers some of the cost and private insurance covers the rest. there are lots of options on machines though now too. i have a mask that covers both my mouth and my nose on account that i often have a stuffy nose (and am apparently not allergic to anything either.) best of luck on your journey to better sleep!

i know my machine should be covered fully, my dad has a really good plan and im still under it. ah to wake up without aches why does it have to affect the body so?
