Do you think Mylot adding an auction area would benefit mylotters?

Just a question, do you think that if mylot offered an online auction site to mylotters, would that help? Could it help people on mylot make ends meet?

First what do you mean by online auction? Or you talking about each mylot member being able to sell something/auction something online to other mylot members? If you are talking like that then I don't think it is a good idea. Some people are here to make money, some are here to have fun but I doubt anyone is here that would really want to spend. Well that is just my take on the situation and there is a good chance other people might say otherwise.
Not to down mylot though but they would have too much more work to do to ensure protecting and to ensure that goods and services meet each other when a transaction is done.

Very very good point Renhard. Then, I wonder if some king of freecycle.org network? We have tasks here and such, to help people make ends meet, but I wonder if they would allow a trading site for goods and services? Things are very hard for people out there nowadays, so Just thinking of how people could help one another get by. But you have a good point, people come here to make money, not spend it.

The problem with most people is that they ALWAYS want something for nothing! If someone has something of value and they would like to sell it then they should get a fair value. I do not agree that an online auction would be a bad idea. However, the business should be a separate entity that mylotters should have access to if they choose to. The items that could be sold should be of value, be brand new and or gently used. The items should be functional and ready for use. Some examples could be antiques and or electronics. I have been looking for a medium for selling quality products without the politics that Ebay brings. Mylot would need to research this before moving forward. Most likely another full time team would be needed to run such a venture. There is already a nice customer base for this website.
