Have you ever forgotten your child

I remember going on a school trip and no parent picked me up after at the school. The teacher drove me home. I walked in and my parents didn't even say much. I made a comment about them forgetting me and I got in trouble for saying something. And this wasn't the first time they forgot me. I could never do this to my daughter

OMG how horrible. To be forgotten and then for them not saying much when you arrived home. I'm guessing your parents weren't loving or caring. I would be hysterical if I had ever forgotten my child anywhere. I can't imagine that I could even be capable of doing such a thing. It just doesn't make sense to forget to pick up your child from school. I could see you running late but to completely forget you, and then when the teacher brings you home its like nothing, that breaks my heart. I wonder has a child growing up after this incident what you thought of this mentally?

I'm really sorry to hear that. I just can't imagine how someone can forget their children, perhaps they are too busy, or they have too many children? When I heard some parents don't know which class their children are studying, I already found it weird. When I heard the mothers forgetting the children's birthday, I found it weird too. I will never do this to my children too, I think this will definitely hurt them, right?

I can't think of a single time that my parents forgot about me when I was growing up and this is also something that has never happened to either of my children either. This does remind me of something that happened when my father was coaching soccer. One of the families had came to the game in separate vehicles and Dad thought that Mom had taken the kids home and Mom thought Dad had taken the kids home when in reality, the kids were both still at the field. My parents ended up taking Matt and Thad home after the game.

That is one thing that I would not do, too. I may be late at times, but I have never completely forgotten my kid. I worry too much about their safety.

Wow. I'm so sorry they did that to you. That's not a normal response when someone forgets their child. Don't ever feel that it is. If I ever forgot my child I would feel terrible and be utterly apologetic, both to the child and the teacher. That's just bad! How old were you, if you don't mind me asking?
