I am curious how people are making money from YouTube. I know that some of them are using Ads in the videos to make money but I doubt that the ads will get a lot of clicks.
I also heard some people say if your videos get 1 million views within certain period of time, you can get $1 million reward from YouTube. Is that true?
Anyone knows how to make money using YouTube?

very interesting and catchy topic you brought up there, mate
i also did not know it is possible to earn through YouTube until some of our fellow comrades here gave tips on how or at least give clues on what to do, if not exactly what to do.
hoping to see more helpful tips that the others may give, it is not bad to share :)
have a great weekend to all of you :)

I don't know how they make money, but what you've suggested sounds reasonable.

The easiest way to earn money from YouTube is if you have a business. You post a video related to your business. Also, if you sell services, you can present something about your services in a video post. You can also provide tips that are related to your business or services.
For example:
- If you provide math tutoring, you can post a video showing people how to solve a common geometry, trigonometry, algebra problems.
- If you have a store, you can post a video product of things you sell and describe what it is, its drawbacks, and its advantages, etc
- If you provide services, you can present a concept that relates to your services, provide tips, and advice people on different aspects..
Bottom line is: The video has to be your video, not other people's videos or videos that have been posted somewhere. You can post other people's videos as long as it those videos have not been posted anywhere.

I don't believe that youtube offers such thing! The only possible way is by joining programs that offer viewing youtube for pay!

what you said is correct but i don't know whether they are giving 1 million dollar or not.I guess they wont because getting 1 million views is not easy.first thing you post some videos which people like to view and make sure in selecting category,Quality etc.. after some day people will start to subscribe to your videos and if you get some certain amount of views, you can adds in it.so that goggle will pays you.
