There are so many things that are different in Sims 3. I have always loved playing sims and from the time I bought the SIms 3 base game, I have not touched sims 2. SO what is it that I like about sims 3 even with all its glitches. Well its story progression for the starters. That brings such an interesting twist to the game. Then certain new features of the games like the ones included in showtime or proffessions like investigators and designers, I am loving it. How about you?

well in this game we can play God, we can build a society like no other. we control people's lives wether we want to make them happy or miserable. we can also make movies. One of my biggest fantasies in life that is impossible for now to happen as I dont have technology and money.... Is to terraform a planet or make a space colony, where I will have people migrate in and build a new society. Well in Sims, its sorta makes the fantasy happen. I imagine my sims town as my space colony/terraformed planet.

I agree with you. It could help in interactions with other people especially with the new feature where even the sims of different players are in an interaction mode.

The Sims is my favorite game. I like the Sims 3 because it is more like playing a real life. Such as you can have your own children. Besides, you will grow old and then finally die. This is a very interesting improvement.

I have a love hate relationship with Sims 3. Not fond of loosing all your goals when you switch to other households. As a whole I like it. Took a while to get used too because it's so involved. I do like that when people are at public sites you can navigate to their location. That part I love.

I went from Sims to Sims 3 as well so found the change dramatic. The characters and the relationships that they have with other sims is what I like about it. For example a boss is a good person to know and can get you a promotion faster. In the game right off the cdrom, I can say I've played it so much that I know all the characters in the town very well. Some I like better than others.
