Well, if you're referring to Mylot, in the guidelines, is properly written to avoid writing "thank you" to each comment in our discussion. That is to say, it does not bring gain. It may moreover be a risk that the comment can be deleted by the system. At least I think that you're referring to this. Am I right?

I think more than the monetary benefits, saying thank you benefits both the "giver" and the "receiver". They both feel good that they have done something good and that feeling is something that no money can buy. It also speaks highly of someone's good upbringing. Any mother would be so tickled to learn that they have a raised a wonderful person enough to politely say his or her thank you's when needed.

i agree with you rain. i just can't help saying thanks to anybody. it shows gratitude and being happy for the participation of who else in the discussion i've started. oh yeah, our parents told us always to say thanks to people when we receive a thing from them. they motivated us how to be polite and respectful, of course, they did it to mold us a better person. :) thanks

thank you for the thank you statement. Sometimes a thank you means a lot to the people who help us and it makes them feel really good and even great sometimes. but often we forget to do it sometimes in your busy schedules we even over look the things we receive. so as a sign of all the thank yous I forgot to tell people in my life I thank you people here..... THANKS FRIENDS.....!!!

hi missjahn, I don't think that there is such a specific thing as just saying thank you will increase your earnings in mylot's guidelines. However, it's always good and polite to say thank you to show your appreciation especially when that person takes the trouble to provide you with valuable and practical information. Have a nice day.

I understand someone who is commenting thank you on my response. I know its mean to say that even though they dont know what to reply they trying to respond back so that you can have their attention to put again on their other topic and not to ignore it.. its my own opinion. thanks for sharing :D
