I am ready to punch these rude ignorent customers. One girl walks in not buying anything, I was with a customer. She starts screaming, and knocking her money on the counter. I walk over she rudely goes I want 2 loonies for this toonie. I go sorry but I can't open the till without buying something. She storms off, if she wasn't so rude I would of opened it for her. Some guy right after walks in, walks behind the counter and looks at the crickets. He walks back as I'm cashing domone out and goes 2 dozen crickets. I put them in a bag and he goes is this 2 dozen I said 24. I was ready to punch him in the face. I just ignore them knowing they must hate their life to act like this. I can see if there is a issue but there isn't.

When I worked as a secretary I had a ton of rude customers! One guy even had the nerve to tell me I shouldn't work with the public because my teeth are so bad that its a distraction for people... That one actually hurt a lot. There was no reason for him to say that, I was being so nice and everything. I went in the back room after he left and cried for a while.

Some people are just rude. We had such an experience in the grocery too last saturday. My mom and I was at the meat section and you know how it is for most grocery where they have this glass covers but people can open them from the customer's side. Most of the time you would have asked the lady behind the counter to get it for you.
My mom and I got there and there was no one in there (customers) so we asked the lady and she was assisting us, then came a man and was calling out "miss" each time his voice growing louder. The lady motioned to him that she will finish us and would attend to him. Guess what this man did - he opened tthe glass and boom he let it go after getting this pack of sliced meat. Every one was surprised in the area, and we thought the glass was about to break!! He was so rude and he cannot even wait, he saw the attendant was with us. Some people are just inconsiderate, mean and rude.

You have to remember that the customer is always right. This is the most important thing that you can remember when you are working in customer service. You really just need to grin and bear it.
I do know that when I started in customer service there were times that I really would get angry with some of the customers that we had. However, I always kept a positive face on and I was able to make it through that job. In fact, if I had the opportunity to go back and work there again, I would certainly do it.

I'm still trying to figure out what loonies and toonies are. Sorry you had a bad day. Customers can be hard to deal with sometimes.

Whew! You were really in a tight spot there. It's good that you just regained your composure instead of ranting at them both ahahha.. Jobs like yours (facing customers) are not for me because when I'm not in a good mood, everything would be affected. hehehe..
But heck, there are really times when I'd go strangle someone because of their ignorance. But I just stop and think of happy thoughts! hahahaha..
Have a great mylot experience ahead!

I get rude patients that come in and yell at us for something we don't do. Like if we don't have their paper work for whatever test were having done they yell at us and were like sorry your doctor didn't fax it to us. Then when we call their doctors office the secretary is like they didn't bring it with them? It's like hello people get a grip. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with patients much anymore because of my new job, I only have to deal with them when I work weekends which isn't often. I hope your day gets better for you.

Working in a store, you would surely get the chance to meet a lot of personalities. Believe me, I have worked at a pharmacy for 10 years and have met all sorts of people. Some I almost ended up really fighting with, but since I do not want to give my brother in law a headache regarding my behavior towards his customer, i try my best to show diplomacy as much as I can. But man! There are people who can really est your temper!

Some people! Good thing you didn't lose your cool. Although they are also lucky that they didn't get to encounter someone who wouldn't actually go the other way or be the bigger person and actually take them up for their rudeness. There were really days that they test your patience. Just because they are having a bad day doesn't mean they can also go around ruining someone else's day as well. Oh well...

When I work at my last job, I had to deal with, rude customers all the time, I am so glad I no longer work at a job, that has to deal with the public, because people can be so mean and so nasty, when they want to be, and they will come in these stores, bring their problems with them, and take it out on you the employee, and what you to deal with, their nasty acting ways.
