Is it lovely for you to see something from years ago?

Another My Lot user showed me my profile page from when I was just 8 months into being a user of fantastic My Lot. I had 1242 discussions on My Lot at that particular time. I was aged 35 years old on that page. Now I am aged 40 years old. It really delighted me seeing that historical page. It really makes me happy to think I will continue being a user of My Lot. The years can fly past and I am so glad I responded to that particular discussion yesterday.
How about you?

I don't think so. Life goes on and so I am. Although I do make a lot of pictures (mostly for my children to remember) I don't clung to it myself. I live in the future as much as possible not in the past. I would never go look for "old" (school) friends or relatives. If they are out of my life (already for years) there is a good reason for that also.

Hello Wake Up Kitty. I can see you are for the present and for the future sort of person. It is lovely you take lots of photos of your children. I am still in contact on Face Book with a friend I had at primary school and a couple of friends I had at secondary school. I especially love to think back to previous travels of mine.

How would you do that?
I'd be interested to see my profile form years ago too.
Last Christmas, I traveled back to my parent's house and got to see some old albums. I saw a picture of me when I was the same age as my son is now. I was so pleasantly surprised to realize how much he looks like me when I was 12!

The number by my name signifies how old I was when I started here at Mylot, I never dreamt that 8 years later I would still be active on Mylot! During that time I have seen so much change, in myself, I was in an abusive relationship back then and hadn't long been diagnozed with clinical depression. It's frightening how time goes so fast! I am 42 this year. Occasionally I get one of my really old discussions surface and I realize just how much I have changed in my thinking too! We learn so much, even just by being on Mylot!

If you are talking about an old discussion, it is, because sometimes I feel that others have forgotten about it, but since I do not have notifications for the discussions I started, I have to search for them. I like it here on mylot and so much has gone on, that I sort of do not take notice of what I did when. Time seems not to matter for me.
