WhenIwas muchmuch younger, my sister and my mother planned a surprise birthday party for me. Unfortunatley, I heard them discuss it, so it was not a surprise for me, but when it was time for my party, I pretended to be surprised. I never told them that I overheard them talk about it. I just pretended I was suprised. After the party, I told them I knew about it. I really wished it had been a surprise for me. Anyways, it was fun and I appreciated the fact that they gave me this party.

I'm glad you told them after the party ended, it's great they planned this surprise party for you :) I wish my mom and my sisters will make me such a surprise but in my family i'm the one who thinks of these things. I'm always the one who makes the bithday cakes because i love to bake :)

Guess I'll never be surprised when my family try to surprise me on my birthday or other important days because I'm much more romantic and creative than them. I usually surprise them instead. LOL.

Surprise party or not, still it would always make us happy because we know that we are loved by a lot of people. I am sure that you had a wonderful time sharing your special day with your loved ones.

That's so sweet of your mom and sis. Too bad you chanced upon the supposedly surprise birthday party preparation. I would be bothered with that, because I am not good in acting out surprised. And I also get so excited easily so if I were you I might have said a thing or two that could entirely ruin everything. I'm glad it still worked out for you in the end.
