I am a person like free things, so I am curious about free education now. Now we can have a lot of free courses and classes online. But I really doubt that how people give these classes get money. You know start and maintain a website will cause a lot of time, energy and money, so without suitable income to cover it, it is impossible for it lasts long. But no matter how it will go, I still want to thank the one put it onto the website that I can have a window to know more about life.

Free things are good! Someone gave me free tuition fee on my schooling from else tardy to university. I am so grateful to them that I proved to them that I am worth it. I have now my own family and have sent cousins and a niece to school. But sadly they were not as diligent as me I think. Some didn't finish school and got married. Those who finished didn't use the education to work. Well I felt sorry and disappointed at first but I cannot dictate what they should do in their lives. I gave them opportunities as what I have received.

Free education offers people a chance to get knowledge which they may use in their daily life or working. But in most cases, free online education can not provide certification which was considered as the prove to education or working ability. I think we may should have more free online course to provide certification education, which may help people have more chance to have an improvement in their working place. But at least, can have free education online is better than charged education in classroom. Progress should be made little by little.

studying before was totally free and everyone could go to the their teacher, but because teachers wanted to increase their salary and add their benefits, the government implemented to pay for the education of their child in school.of course everyone wanted to have a free education.

I think the very reason for not providing free education here is the government do not want use the tax in that way. At the same time, the government hope the education fee can take way people's fortune, so that people have to be busy in earning money, while have no time to thin about the government's problems. Also many people do not want to share their knowledge as they do not want other people smarter than them.

It is a noble deed to provide free education whether it is online or offline. For sure every endeavor needs money to run: it could be supported by some good Samaritans or Non-Government Organizations supported by private funding or donations. We all should support those free education projects as education could make a difference in making one's life to become batter whether spiritually or materialistically. Let's do our part to contribute to the betterment of our society. Every little effort counts.

It is a noble behavior to deliver knowledge to people who are need it. But usually knowledge is a power, so education are always not free. Giving out free education and spread it all over the world is creative mind and also a very hard task. I want to thank the good people for their doings.

free education is good, i presume. this free education gives an access to the less fortunate person. they can enroll even no money for miscellaneous and school fees. so good if the government would offer such opportunity or any private sector so that everyone will be sent to school and could graduate from any course or so.

Sometimes having a college education or not is only one's choices, but in most part of the country, it is a financial choice for the family. Receiving high education requires a lot of money, which will take a great fortune for a poor family. So young people from poor family will leave the school after nine year education. Free online course gives them a chance to learn something new, may be useful to change their future life.

As American and European universities put their free courses online for us, some universities in China also follow the trend to accumulate reputation. Though the Chinese course is not as good as we wish, it is still a great progress, which makes poor people can have a chance to get education.

No matter how the classes be settled, we still can learn something new to improve ourselves. The person have done the free courses online do a great thing to change the education here, now many universities have to improve their teaching skills and refresh their course. If not people can get old courses easily online and will not enter the college.

Hello dan dan, Well I don't know if these are really free. Self teach is probably the best way to learn new things with so many online (free) resources out there, like wikipedia for instance. I don't really trust the type of free courses mentioned, especially those free "courses" on internet marketing and money making as they are usually made in such a way that only the author to really benefit from them. A good day to you, Alex.

Hello there, yeah free education is indeed great. In some countries, I think the government gives free training/education to some of it's citizens. I have a cousin who is in the UK, he is really fortunate that his education was funded by the government. Since primary to secondary education is free as long as you are a resident in that country, furthermore some tertiary courses are free as well like Nursing, which happened to be the course of my cousin. He really enjoys that course and is about to graduate this year, I think.

If the education is free, many people can have a chance to learn something which may change their lives. But from my own experience, free things are not common, in most cases, we have to pay something to get other things. I am glad that your cousin can have free education to help him grow. I think many people in my country are badly needed the free education.

Free education is great but I do not believe that it is free at all. There are just some benefits that you can get from it but there should also be some personal expenses that go with it. Like in our place, kids are given free supplies including uniform and things they use in the classroom but of course allowances and other projects sponsored by the department are not free of charge. There are also some limitations, if you know what I mean.

From my own experience, I can have free online courses now, whole courses not a part. So it is really true, and I can not see any limit or charge. But the website for online courses is beautiful and videos should be recorded and uploads, I think there requires a lot of time and energy. The person who upload these courses are really good person, but I do not know how they can maintain the website for a long without suitable financial support, even from income or donation.
