What do I am disappointing in working outside house is that you are being controlled by your company. You need to follow their policies and once you've done wrong. You will start feeling nervous about the consequences that you may face from your superior. You will always make yourself please to them. And they are always there especially managers to observe you every time and your actions. And if your unlucky you might get scold once you done mistake from a boss who humiliate his employee.I once became employee I worked in a different company.Although I don't experience it totally but to my other co-employee I've witness such experiences.

I've personally never been or seen humiliation of employees where I work currently although I must admit I've been there for only a little over a year. I agree with the first 2 statements though. No matter how hard we work, we're eventually earning for someone and working according to their policies. But, I still feel its a small price to pay for the experience it gives us to then go ahead and start our own business.

thanks for sharing your suggestion.. well that is good too.If we think that there is something much better for us. then go ahead. we can never grow up if we only stick and stay to place were we are always stationary.and no chance to succeed.as what they said.

there are many disadvantages of being employed than to have your own business, some people prefer to have their own business and be their own boss than to be employed.

that is true .you know I am impress with this small scale street food vendors here . why? because people often discriminate such kind of field, but when I talked with them their earnings are greater than those who works normally in office.and I see their families their backgrounds some of them have finished their Sons in College in such field.

the things you are talking about is what i didn't like about working for others. i say it all the time. working for other people made me more sick than i already was, because it was killing to my spirit. i believe that is true for most people who work for someone else or a company.

thanks for our view. even I too. we only make them rich. while seeing them only use their money to invest and we are the one who works hard and for long hours for it.. beside that you are always aware of every moves you do .making always your time to please them and to avoid committing things that will discourage them. Our salary is limited. while their earnings are not.

I've been in the situation where I feel so stress and nervous about my job. It affects the quality of my job result. I think it's normal if we feel that way because no one is perfect all the time and can handle everything the boss order to us. If someone can't handle the pressure of being employee she/he have to start rethinking about her future if she/he need to quit the job and start her/his own bussines.

Hi gara!
Whether we choose to work for someone or put up our own business, there will always be a disadvantages and advantages as well.
It is always up to us which kind of work we choose. Personally, I find it hard to work under somebody or to become an employee which you have your boss, however, I know that I cannot yet make it on my own that is why I still have to maintain my work as an employee.
Have a great day!

I agree, that is the big disadvantage if you are just an employee. You are being controlled by your superior. You have to do good to be able to maintain your job. If your performance gets worse, you are in great danger of losing your job. I worked as an employee for almost 10 years. It was hard because I always have to do things to please my boss so I can achieve a job promotion. This past two years, I was lucky because my brother put up his business and so I started working for him as a manager. I don't consider myself as an employee because he is my brother. It's like my own business too.

I used to work in different companies before.that's what you have to do.please them for the sake of keeping your job and hope that somedayyou will get a raise and a promotion.then you work until you're old and seek retirement then get all the benefits when you're already old and let your children enjoy all the hard earned benefits that you will get...exciing huh....

Well if ever there is one advantage of being just an employee is that when your shift ends, your work or time for the company also ends. If you are one of the owners, you cannot actually disengage yourself from the business wherever you are. You have lots of responsibilities and people to manage. You could be having dinner with your family and yet you will and must receive calls if there is something wrong with the company.
