I happened to turn around in my chair because I hear Tiny drop from the sofa as I am getting ready to get up for a computer break. I see that the dog is gone.
*Goes into the bedroom.*
"Is she in bed with you?"
"No."
"Really? Where is she?"
*Turns on light and tiptoes around the room."
I find Tiny doing what she has been in training for in the last THREE DAYS.
SLEEPING IN HER BED!
Have you had similar experiences with your pet that it was easy for them to train or was it difficult?

How would you toilet train a small dog to use your toilet? I've heard of that.

Cats are a little different but the same principle applies. If you can't get them to stay at the bottom of your feet it becomes a problem and you can't rest well. Sorry to hear that someone killed your dog.

The dog is a dachshund and a fairly good size. She used to just go to the bottom of the bed and sleep at my feet. It had gotten to the point recently though that she would put her body behind my back and I would get up the next day uncomfortable. Getting up late was one of results.
Dogs normally are good with staying in a corner of the bed but when they break the boundaries of what is considered okay then that is where the problem begins.
I'm glad that she is taking this change so well seeing that she was used to being in bed for four years.
