I have been watching a few movies for a past two days where the hero or the heroine dies at the end. It left me wondering does it hurt when you die? I mean the so called 'natural death' cases. what does it feel like? anybody have seen anybody die? heard them speak their last words or something of that sort? any near death experiences or something? clarify my doubts please.

We are still all alive. Guess it's too early to say how it feels like.

I have not spoken to anybody who had that experience. But I do think that when one is about to die, the person's senses "turns off" one by one. At least that was how I perceived how it would be. I got that idea when I got sick, well, actually, I was stung by a single bee on my finger. I had ananphylactic shock. First there were only rashes all over my body. Then I felt a bit dizzy. Then I felt my body real heavy that I could barely move a finger. I was feeling really odd. I was shivering but not feeling cold. Then there was darkness. I am not sure if my eyes were shut but there was total darkness. The sounds that I heard were slowly fading. Had shortness of breath and then POOF! I passed out. I am not sure how long I was lying on my husband's arms, but I woke up hearing his voice and waking me up. I really thought I was going to die.
