I am tired of being a skinny pale living creature on this planet, I do exercise but instead of gaining muscle, t makes me more skinnier. Right now i have a friend who is basically a bad influence as he is convincing me to try steroids. Damn it! For sure it will make me muscular in a short time and it will make me strong but its has so many side effects. I don't know if will try juicing or now. I mean i wont pursue an athletic career anyway, I just wanted to look like a superhero. Why do have to be a twig!
Though I am tempted to try steroids, I do decided that i wont try it but still I hate my body.

It could be your body type too. Not everyone is meant to be all bulked up. What type of exercise are you doing? If you're doing straight cardio, it'll just make you skinnier; you need some weight training to help increase muscle mass.
And remember-superheros are just illustrations of what we want to look like. It takes a LOT of work for someone to look like that-and anyone that I've seen that resembles a superhero has put in a LOT of time in the weight room.

Actually, weight training helps to develop your muscles; lean muscle burns fat. Try using your body weight to begin-say push ups or pull ups. In both of those exercises, your body weight is the weight that your biceps have to work with.
Jack Lalanne advocated eating properly; he also exercised 2 hours a day. One hour of strength training and one hour of swimming. He was also Mr. America in 1955. He has always claimed to have never used steroids. Arnold Schwarzenegger HAS admitted to using them in 1977, when they were still legal. He claimed they were for maintaining his muscle definition, and not to build them.
I knew someone in high school-really nice, funny guy. But one day, he got tired of being super skinny, and instead of putting in the time at the gym, he went for the easy way and took steroids. Next thing I knew, I was visiting him in the hospital-the doctors believed that the steroids caused a hole in his heart.
Try starting small-do a half hour of weight training every other day for a month. You won't see immediate results, but you will start to see your body changing. And don't worry about weight gain-I learned that muscle ALWAYS weighs more than fat!

You hit the nail on the head.
"If you're doing straight cardio, it'll just make you skinnier; you need some weight training to help increase muscle mass."
My first thought was it sounds like the wrong kind of exercise.
Yeah, muscle-bound superheroes must be to men what rail-thin waiflike models are to women. Idealistic representations.

I do a lot of Cardio as I have an obsession of having a healthy heart and love the sensation of my heart beating crazly after a work out. I havent tried weight training but it is part of my consideration, someone is pushing me to try wight training while juicing but I dont want to use roids, though I am tempted.

Stay away from that stuff unless you want your face to swell. Yes steroids can make your face swell, another side effect is that you will start getting more aggressive and might hurt someone. If you want some muscle you should start lifting 10 kilograms of dumbbells on each arm for 30 minutes 3 times a week then you can increase the time when you're strong enough or feel ready. Eat a lot of protein foods like eggs(raw is better), nuts and meats like fish and chicken if you are not vegetarian.

I heard about swollen faces, lots of pimples, hairy body , painful joints and I heard about manboobs growing f you quit using. so many side effects to scare me fro using them. I already have aspergers and ADHD so that might trigger my temper,I am ore of a quiet calm person though.

hello Capt,
You don't need to take steroids to acquire those muscles.
Trust me, my cousin (a former Mr.Philippines and Mr.Panagbenga organizer) and my bro- in law (Mr.Baguio Bodybuilder and gym instructor) are both skinny before they gained those muscles.
They are taking supplement and proper gym exercise (with professional assistance).
It takes time to have a good body, abs, biceps and lat spreads.
You need a good/professional gym instructor to start with.

supplements have me end up in a surgery again right?
wow...haven't heard about this (if proven then you may sue the company/producer)
anyway, you don't need to be super bulky like those bodybuilder competitors.
but still you need a professional assistance to gain weight and abs.
Exercising is not enough...

typo correction: supplements might have me end up in a surgery again right?
I dont want to look like a competitive body builder, I just want to look like a fighting game character created by SNK. I just want to be more of a man and less of a boy.

I know there are so many products out there but part of me still feel skeptic. Maybe because I have surgery last year ( I got my appendix removed)so I was really careful of what I will ingest but I do consider those protein shakes and hormones. anyway I dont want to turn into Hulk, I just wanted to be a bit wider.

the slowly but surely route is going to be complicated and more painful process but for sure it is safer than juicing,

well muscle and fat are two things that cover the bones. exercise is supposed to develop the muscle and crub the fat make you healthy. by what your saying i think you muscle is not having enough protein to build up. try eating fresh sprouts, toasted chicken with minimal oil and spices. for best effects eat as soon after exercise, it increases the intake and body absorbs it faster. proteinx is the best available in the market. keep trying, do not loose hope, good luck...!!! :)

I do a lot of cardio most of the time, but it makes me skin and bones. I do plan of enrolling to a program that may somehow work for me, I am only tempted with roids because ts faster but I decided to not go with it.

From what I understand, Johnny Weissmuller was scrawny at one time, but when he took up swimming, all that changed. He muscled up without becoming musclebound.

if there is only a place in my area with a pool that is clean and affordable, I would have tried swimming.

I think I got a bit tired of doctors after having a surgery last year, Its something in my consideration, I am insecure of my body, the alternatives are slow but for sure they were much safer and they wont punish me when I got old. maybe after my vacation,I will try to change my life and of course my body.
