When I was young I hated the taste of caraway, a popular seasoning in China. People usually put it in soup to make the soup taste nicer. Well I didn't think so. The first time I tasted it, I couldn't bear its strong flavor for one second that I simply vomitted. Anyway, this thing was so popular that I had many many chances to taste it again and again. And also, it's good for health, so I tried not to avoid it. Thank god, I finally got used to it twenty years later. Now guess what, I can't live without it. I love its special flavor. It's unbelievable, isn't it? Have you ever had a similar experience?

than I do not before. Now it is my most favorite viand, the same as other vegetable dishes.

I was very picky when I was a child and there were several thing I did not like. But probably one of the most disgusting things for me was cauliflower. My mom cooked it and covered it with a white sauce with parmesan cheese. I always thought that the only thing worth eating there was the cheese and, of course, my mom did not put enough cheese as to cover up the other tastes. Now cauliflower is one of my favorite veggies. I find it very versatile and make appetizers, puddings, salads, omelettes, you name it. There is always some cauliflower in my fredge, maybe because among it`s other good points, it is very cheap here.

On the contrary, I was quite picky now and would eat junk food from time to time, but back to childhood I was not allowed to be picky.

Way back when I was in elementary year, I really really hated Mathematics and Computer subjects. I wasn't able to excel on that subject and I don't care what could be my grade is, what's important is that I passed the subject. But when I was in high school, I started to love that two subjects. I was able to excel and now I'm teaching it to my students.

Isn't it amazing? I wouldn't like to be teacher when I was little. I thought to be a teacher would be the last choice for me. Now guess what,I'm a teacher. What surprises me is that it's kinda the best choice for me. I guess I was just not that confident before, but now I am and I enjoy speaking in fornt of many people. I really enjoy the moment when my students laugh and nod their heads in class.

Yes I too had and have this experience in my life. There are so many incidents in my life. In my childhood I hated to eat some sweets and loved to eat some other sweet dishes. But years after my taste changed I lot and started to eat sweets which I hated earlier. I don't know the reason behind it. I have to say that I have change in taste not in only in dishes but also some other areas too.

Back when I was an elementary student, I hated eating bitter ground vegetables. I doesn't like the taste of it. But now that I'm thinking of my physical health, I started to love it. I knew that this vegetable is rich in iron to help me in my blood circulation and provide me with additional healthy blood. Now, I'm cooking that with eggs and tuna to make it more delicious.

I don't know that it is, I'm glad that you are trying it, though. Does it taste bitter according to it's name? I know bitter things are usually good for health.
