Being strong means you always wear a breastplate to protect you from the world or, rather, you know, and you can show others just like you, opening your heart, not to be afraid that you might be hurt?
Always hear around me the phrase "strong woman", referring to the lady who made career that lasted from breakups that have not lost any minds, nor wealth, nor common sense nor feminine, without being vaie what ever happened to them. I hear people speaking about powerful men in those who have never cried and he has not seen anyone hesitating.
But I think that the real power is to show the world the good and the bad of your weaknesses and strengths, not to care about that you can judge someone and without fear that such become vulnerable.
What is, after all, to be strong, if not be exactly who you are, without pretense, no hiding places, no tricks? Do not let anyone see you? I am strong because I know who I am. And only after I got the courage to wear my sight weakness I felt really strong. But not everyone can be.

I think strong is the one who never lose his or her faith in tough situations of the life. to be strong does not mean to not cry, to not pray, to not ask help and.... but the strog one is the one who think positive in all situation of life and find best solution and come over with faith.

Sometimes I feel that I am strong enough to face some problem or hard situation, sometimes I feel like I can go through it. But I always need someone beside me who will always supporting me. I show my weakness, my strength, my fragile to my belove one just to know that he will accept me all I am. I am still learning and trying to be stronger than ever.

The word strong can mean many things. It may convey physical conditions or character. It can also be used of determination.

I agree with you. And I feel that I am showing my strenght when I throw away the masks and dare walk without them. If someone loves me, he/she is loving me. If someone hates me, it is me they hate. That does not mean we don`t have fears, but rather that we try to conquer them.

I agree with you, didi. Being strong doesn't mean that you are tough all the time. Being strong is being able to show who you really are.
