I have recently started eating clean and exercising (kickboxing, pilates, power walking, aerobics) because I want to take better care of my health and be in the best shape I can possibly be. How much weight have you lost and how long did it take you to lose it? Now that you lost the weight, are there any new challenges you now face?

Lost 15 pounds in February, but had Influenza
At this point still trying to build my strength back up so can start stretching and exercising again. Being sick is the worst way to loose weight. Seems it takes a body longer to recover lack of energy when it is dropped that fast.

In 2009 I lost 20 pounds between April and November by going to the gym 5 days a week for an hour, and only drinking water, and having a meal bar for lunch. I ate a regular breakfast and dinner, and had a little dessert.
But after I got married in 2010 I gained the 20 pounds back, plus 10 more!
I can only manage to get to the gym once in awhile now.
And I got in the habit of eating a lot for lunch everyday.
And I can't stop craving sweets!
I know how to lose weight. I just have to get motivated to do it again.

I too have started eating healthy food since past one week and I do just walking and some Yoga at home. I walk for about 45 to 60 min everyday. I think walking is best exercise. I also do little stepper, i got it at home. I eat food which is either without oil or is steamed. I try to make my food as tasty i can without oil. But i find it too difficult. So now days i am eating Dumplings. They have chicken, vegetables and little wheat so i get my balanced diet through them and they are not fried but are steamed. So i am eating healthy. I will be checking my weight next week, i am hoping to lose something.

It is really hard to say, as my weight fluctuates up and down all the time. It is hard to have a happy medium, and hard to maintain my weight loss =, once I have reached my target weight. I have been struggling for years to losw weight. i try to eat right and exercise, but that isn't always possible. I do drink leafy greens and fuits every morning, hopng that it will help in my weight loss regime, but so far, anything I have lost, has come right back on. I am not giving up though, as i am not a quitter, and I know I eventually will lose what i need to. Take care, and have a very good day.

Hi ambull! I have been maintaining my weight for more than 2 years now. I'm at 50-53kilos. I run, exercise and always eat in moderation. I still enjoy chocolates, ice cream, cakes..(you get the drift); but I never over-indulge. I don't want to starve myself, too. I decided 2 years ago that if I am losing weight, I am going to do it the right way; so I can maintain it for the rest of my life.
Good for you that you have decided to make a life-changing decision. I hope you keep it up. It's great what you're doing to your body. You'll feel and look younger before you know it.
