I think I will buy from a company

I was looking online and my Dad said the other night (although he was drinking), buying cheap isn't always good, but then buying expensive isn't better either. I want something in my budget, and the fast to pay off the better, in my budget I figured out I have to have amortgage $400 - $450 (or lower). No house is going to cost me that, my brother and his wife pay $1,500 and they have a 40 year mortgage, and that's a small townhouse in this area (the other type houses double, triple or more). I wanted the mobile home, to work up my name, and credit. Have a place that I can afford, while putting money away for either land, or a house. They can't understand that because my sister and my brother expect the best of the best. They look at houses way out on view, like a $650,000 house. I know I wont be able to afford it, and working with my budget, or if something happened I could still get by with it. I found this one I found with a company and really like. One no carpet, 3 bedrooms, and in good shapre. http://www.clarksmobilehomes.ca/rv/new/SKYLINE/2010-SKYLINE-12+x+40-5919470e404638bf0192b9870a279c1c.htm I will wait until MOnday when I meet with the mortgage lady and see what she says.

I don't know what land prices are in your area, but another approach would be to buy the land and put a travel trailer, yurt or other "temporary" structure on it while you work to build your dream home on the land. Not saying that is better than the route you're looking at... just raising that as a possibility that may cost you less in the long run. I know that this is the route I am giving serious consideration to, since I have reached the end of my ability to tolerate rentals. This rental is the one that finally not only pushed me to my limit, but it has also caused my boyfriend to realize that owning is preferable to renting.

Here that's illegal if caught it's a $45,000 fine. Land alone cost minimum $250,000 plus septic and well, before the town will even consider allowing you to put a structure on it. Plus, all the money it would cost you to get it past by the town. I will not rent one it's a waste of money you basically throw money away, as here you have to do all the repairs, upkeep and so on. Whereas a trailer I own so even if I go in a park or land it's mine, in a park you rent the land but you have more freedom, and can up and leave when you want. I was thinking of putting it in a park for now, then save up more for land, septic, and well.

I was looking at a park close by here, it's about 15 minutes North. Seeing as land is minimum $250,000 or more, plus a septic and well.

hi Ricki I really liked that one you showed ujs and hope yo can get that. It looks pretty neat and nothing wrong with not buying the most costly . In fact most people get into trouble when they try to buy high p riced on their low priced budget. Better to be sensible and stick to what you think you can afford.WE aew all are rooting for you to get into yo ur own place and move out from mom and dad. more power to you.

I agree that the mobile house is lovely and new: a beautiful place to start. And it is very important to be able to afford it. There are always extras in life and a too high mortgage is much too dangerous.

I think that this mobile home is beautiful. And if you want carpets later on, you can slowly save for it. Do you have to pay rental to place the mobile home somewhere. If you can afford it, go for it, girl

There are far, far too many people in the world today that think that they need to have the best of everything. I'm not one of those people and I don't think that I will ever be one of those people. You see, when it came time for my husband and I to look for a home of our own, we knew that we could have been preapproved for a lot more than what we ended up spending on our home. However, we opted to go with the best value that we could find. Yes, our house needed and still does need work, but we've been able to keep it through everything that my husband has been through. I think that it is much more important to think about what you could afford in a bad situation than to have the best thing that money can buy (and that you would lose in a bad situation).

You know what is best for you. keeping your budget in mind will surely help you in being able to work on the monthly mortgage than aspiring to buy something real nice and costly which you might have problems in paying later on.

That mobile home is really nice Ricki. That would be great for you if you could get it. Keep it within your budget by putting a big chunk down. You go girl!
