Someone for everyone - fact or fiction

i think that there's a match for everyone, no matter how a person's ways or attitude may seem there's always someone who's able to match and coupe with it, on the topic of soul mates i couldn't really say much if that's fact or fiction, in some instances i've seen people who have been together for 50yrs so that could well be examples of soul mate lol, but i'm just saying cause i have no concrete proof.
