Why did you quit MyLot?

What I meant was what are the reasons you may quit MyLot? Obviously, if you answer this thread you're still here; and therefore the question may not be applicable to you. However, I am one of the many Mylot-ers who had quit and came back; quit and came back MyLot. The main reason why I tend to leave this community is the addiction. Once I start, I can't do other stuff online (aside for answering posts!)hahaha! Perhaps, I'm not that good of a multi-tasker as I used to be. I come back still though, because, yes... I do miss the conversations.
What about you?

I have started with Mylot in 2010. But was only around for a couple of days, I think. I didn't know much about the site and all I was after was how to earn something coz my boss wasn't getting projects from the US and he suggested that I look for other means of earning. I really do no know much about it. And so I think I just made less than 20 posts that time, then left. I had a new online job then so I focused more on that and had completely forgotten about Mylot. But last year, I do not know what made me to check on Mylot again. I saw that the amount I earned which was less than $2 was no longer there. And I realized it was due to my inactivity for too long. So, it was fine. I read the terms of service and then tried posting again. And then, I never left a day without logging in here! This is my virtual love!

I really don't pay much attention to the number beside my username. But yeah, from the last time I logged in which was in 2011, I left it at 159 and since getting back last June 2012, I have participated on a lot of discussions already!

Hi jenny and surek! Boy! It really looks like you're having fun with the site. I used to log in everyday here, too. I got too addicted, in fact that I decided I needed to take a little break from it all. And guess what??!! My little break ended up for sooo many months that I've forgotten all about the site. If it were not for an bloggie post I read about MyLot, I wouldn't have thought to reunited with the community... just yet.

Hi patnopy! This is my original, first-ever and proud to be active account. I'm afraid if I didn't logged in yesterday though... this account would've just been a memory for me. hahaha!

If you don't mind, why did you make a new account? Did you not want to use the old ones anymore?

I am not planning on leaving mylot, at all. Now there is going to be an update to the system, and not sure what they will be, but I do hope they aren't to drastic, that people would want to leave. I love mylot, and I have great times here and the fun I have far surpasses any of my earninjgs, past, present and future. I have taken breaks from myoot, but I haven't been gone to long, before i realized that I missed mylot, and would come back. i did however, log in everyday, so i wouldn't lose my earnings, but I just didn't post anything the time I was gone away from here. Mylot is just to nice a community to want to leave tor to long. I am here to stay. at least for now. Take care, and have a great day.

Good to hear rosekiss! I hope the change would be for the better, too. It's good that you're having a lot of fun with the site. I hope I both have fun and a lot of earnings, though. hahaha! After all, that was my very first reason why I joined a few years back.hihihih

I quit myLot and came back too for how many times. The reason why I quit is just because I am so tired. I want to see other work online opportunities, but I still came back because myLot is the who always paying on time.

Hi introvertshy and nursefrai! I know that MyLot pays. That's for sure. But there are sooo many other sites where you can rake some money from. I'm a content writer; and there is always money for me on the net. MyLot is just one of the good sites. There are, no offense to the lotters, better ones where you can spend time online and earn some moolah!

I have quite mylot for 3. years and I come back before two weeks. The reason why I leaved mylot is, because I didn't have time for it. I have had a lot of job in my other earning sites and I was busy with school things. Now I think I have a lot more to do, but I get some free time to visit mylot too.

I never wanted to quit mylot but i was forcibly made to quit by the unavailability of an Internet connection. Its sad really.

Having the connection is crucial of course, nursefrai. It's not only MyLot that you can't go to; but to other social sites as well... like Facebook, perhaps.

I never actually quit Mylot. I went away and came back, went away then came back. Although every time I come back my earnings starts from zero, but the things I that I have learned from here is well worth the bucks anyway! Furthermore it's such a vibrant community, I guess I'll always go away when I get distracted and come back when I became sick of other forums.

Hi cathy! So you and I are on the same boat. I really didn't notice though if my account's earnings diminished from when I left. I suppose I didn't really cared for it. It's still good money, I know. But I just find it a bit challenging to earn a big amount from MyLot. I still keep coming back however, because it is actually a good place to hang.

Hi beingwell, I love the unique myLot features and majority of the interesting activities here. I find fun to spend leisure time here with friends with common interest and earn a little at the same time for so many years here. I hope the new myLot version doesn't appear like other popular social network sites I learn from those who had seen the demo. Am really worried I may be not used to it. Hope that it won't disappointed me and to keep the thought of "quit" away from me
Happy posting

Hello beingwell, nice to see you here again, just like you I did not quit, I just paused for some time because I need to attend to my baby after I gave birth and the is the major reason why I am not around for so long.
But since I am back again, what I really wanted to do now is to earn my points so that I can cash it out hahahah! why should I lie, its been stuck for so long, unlike before that I used to payout every month , now its been years hehehe! anyway I like to participate in the conversations too, still lazy to put up my own topic though. Happy Mylotting day!

Being new here, i haven't found any reasons to leave yet. But like everybody else I would prefer not find any reason to leave but just reason to succeed with mylot. So far so good.

I do agree that sometimes it can really be addictive! World stops because there is nothing else you do but stay in from of your laptop or computer unknowing the passing of time. Just do things in moderation...

Right! That's correct, cherigucchi! I try to limit my time here in MyLot... I really do try. Even if I still feel like answering other discussions, I stop myself and head over to my other sites.
