Anyone into electronic music here?

Up until quite recently I though most electronic music was pretty bad. Most of the stuff that was thrown into my face was quite commercial and horrible. But since I was a kid I was always interested in understanding how it was actually made. I found this toy when I was around 8 years old, and my parents got it for me. It was this dj mixer with pre-recorded sounds and an extendible midi keyboard. I loved that machine to death, but eventually it stopped working. But still I had no interest in the music I was listening to. More than a decade later I fell in love with electronic music, as I ended up finally discovering artistas worth mentioning and listing too. Aphex Twin (genius), Biosphere, Ceephax Acid Krew, Venetian snares... now my whole life changed, and I have been trying to learn as much as I can about the subject and trying to give it a go myself! So this is what I have to ask: 1. Do you like electronic music? 2. How did it start for you? 3. Do prefer the commercial side of it, or the underground side of it? 4. Would you ever consider making your own songs? 5. Do you have any favorite artists or songs in specific? 6. Do you attend parties or raves frequently?
