Finally have a VISA Card!

I finally have a VISA card. It is actually a debit card so I won't be tempted to purchase in credit. I am planning to use it for my paypal account. However, I have zero balance in my paypal.

Hi jearl! What is the name of your card? Well, before you can use it to verify you paypal account, you need to deposit at least 200 pesos. Is the card can be link to your cellphone. If yes then you have to do it before making any transaction. Because you will be needing the verification email to be sent to your cellphone so that you can have it posted on your Paypal account. Hi aries1973! It's a VISA card. I got it from RCBC. I actually tried to verify my paypal using it but it says that it will deduct P100 from my card but will be replenished after the verification. I don't have any amount at my VISA card right now so I haven't verified my paypal account yet. Thanks for sharing!

Yes. But they will return the amount after you account has been verified, that would be after a day. So this 100 pesos shall be the first amount in your Paypal. I verified my account using smart money last year. I linked my smart money with my cellphone so after the first step, smart automatically sent the verification code to my cellphone. If you will use a credit card, it will be included in the bill but with debit card, I do not know how to do it.

Congratulations for having another savings account, well since it is a debit card you have to put money on your savings for it to be useful. Anyway, even though you have zero balance in your paypal, I am sure that you will fill it up with your earnings soon. Good luck!

Congrats, i'm glad you got your card, i was also excited when i got my first one, many years ago.H ope you'll withdrow many $$$ from your paypal account to your Visa card :)

Always remember VISA CARD is much of use in emergency, good for you to have one, it is one kind of a security Offer if you can have one.
