All money I earned from the sites I have joined are still on my paypal account and now I want to withdraw it but I don't have bank or atm account. I am thinking to open an atm account but what bank should I open an account? I want the bank that paypal can easily transfer my money to my atm account and very convinient. How did you get your money in paypal? What bank do you use? Any suggestions?

I formerly have my BPI account where paypal transfers my money. But doing that would cost me 150 pesos per transfer, and that's already big. So someone from here suggested EON card of Unionbank. So i applied and have been an EON holder fro how many years now. Transfer of Paypal has no fee. You only have to pay Unionbank 350 pesos yearly. And the bank automatically deducts it whenever it's already due. If there is no money yet in your EON card, the moment it already have , it automatically deducts it. So , apply for an EON card my friend. It's cheaper that way.

This seemed like the best option. Union is easy and free - 350 is the annual due right? hmm i thought it was only 250 back then hehe. I always wiithdraw to my bpi account, so i always have mine deducted with 150 pesos all the time, its even bigger in bdo, its about 200 bucks! =( But i rarely withdraw, so i think this is the reason why i maintain and transfer to bpi - i have never encountered problems in doing so too. :D

You can open an EON visa card in Union bank or can get an E-wallet visa card in RCBC where you can easily transfer your payout through these ATM card. Actually I do not have a visa card i just transfer all my earnings to my husband Paypal account and withdraw to his EON card every time i need it.

So far I did not encounter any problem from withdrawing my money from Paypal to eon, but it takes 3 to 4 business before I received to my EON.

Hi, A bank account is one sure way to transfer the cash. However, I just use my Paypal balance for online purchase on eBay, Amazon or any online shopping that offers worldwide shipping. Maybe, if my balance becomes big enough, say USD10K, I would be opening a bank account for the purpose. For now, my balance does not warrant one.

The easiest would be opening an Eon acvount at union bank. No need to have a maintaining balance on this account. You only need to pay 350 pesos annual fee. If you want to earn interest from that account, you need.to have at keast 10k pesos.

This totally depends on your locality if you are living in the Philippines, i suggest you should ask first your banking carrier and which banks do affiliate with PayPal... BPI (Bank of the Philippine Islands) is one of the many Banks in the Philippines that is affiliated with PayPal and other online money carriers. Though mine is PayPal verified from credit card not on atm card... But you can always ask the Bank personnel on which options you can decide with. Hope this helps.

it's better to search discussions about eon, unionbank, bpi, bdo, paypal, etc here at mylot because it has been discussed many times here and many members have already shared their experience. just type eon or unionbank in the search box. the P150 charged by bpi and P200 (i think) by bdo is already my food and transpo for the day. so we're pretty lucky we're in metro manila because there are many unionbank branches here, unlike in the provinces where they have no choice. eon is good for those who have regular online earnings and need to withdraw frequently, like monthly or every two months. but if you transfer less than Php7,000 from your paypal to eon, there is a Php50 deduction. also remember that paypal's dollar-to-peso conversion rate is lower than what you see in the newspapers or from the banko sentral. the difference serves as their profit to stay in business.

Well,i think you can open account with any bank as long as you have internet banking.Paypal would need you to verify the small amounts they passed into your account and withdrew. Most of the times, atm does not provide this info and also if they do they might charge something. But then you can also enter the details of your debit card in paypal. This would also help in verifying your bank details.Once your bank is verified, its all fine to have the money transferred to account. You can also withdraw the money from atm usign your atm card.Even paypal provides atm card as well so if you would like, you can check out that as well.So it is always better to have the account with internet banking.there is no preference over the banking brands for opening accounts. But then its better to open with well know names so that you have the trust and other benefits by opening the account with them.I am using well fargo account for my paypal. It has been all fine and i am able to do the transactions.I do not use the paypal card but is aware its handy for certain cases especially if you want to buy things in ebay or similar online stores.you can also check with the concerned bank also before opening account. Thanks!
