I disappointed on shvoong.com...

That's actually not bad on a rev share site. The thing is, it doesn't matter that you published 99 articles: it's the page views that count. With ~3000 views, you're looking at a worldwide eCPM of just over $0.10 - which is average for that kind of thing. The positive side is that it's residual income: it'll keep accumulating with no more work. The negative side is that you're only getting 10% of what they're making... which is horrific. Most rev share works at 50% or more, so you should have earned five times that amount. Of course, most rev share doesn't accept tiny little review articles with little or no quality checking, so I'm guessing that's why they pay such an insultingly low percentage. Either that or they're deliberately targetting people who don't realise they're getting screwed.

I have seen that almost everybody is disappointed with shvoong. I am not a member there, but I have heard a lot about it and have not come across a single person who is happy with shvoong. However, it could be a good site to increase the writing skills. Moreover, we can feel a little happy when our articles are being published and people reading those.

i think i must say from my perspective.. i joined in shvoong since May 2009.. like you, iam nearly giving up and very dissapointed.. can you imagine, if my first payment happens 1 year later? April 2010.. but every 2011, i get my payment regular every month now i know, we don`t know how to make money in shvoong..

You got 34 cents for 99 articles, wow. I get 2.43$ for each article i write and get approved. Do the math and get the hell away from shvoong or whatever it is called. Not worth the time.

It is hard to earn in shvoong.It takes years unless you have a lot of stories.Research more on novels that other people wants to make them see your articles

site is in my testing list for about a month and haven't moved it since then. i always find a site better than this one - hubpages , squidoo and even xamboo pays more than shvoong.

Shvoong.com pays very low. That is what I read on some on internet. Even though you write many articles on it, in three years time, you would not earn good money at shvoong.com.

Thanks for sharing your experience,it is not only you but many are disappointed lol; i was there for some time, the payment is low compared to the labor one does, mylot is the best, you better pass your time here, enjoy, earn.

There are times that even we know that a certain site is legit yet we were not able to get the proper strategy in order to earn more from the site. It's a sad thing to know that your expectation was not meet. You are not alone. Anyway, there are till a lot of sites which you could try. Just keep going!

Hi ! Actually our efforts are not well compensated in Writing article sites. Writing article sites pays so little. Like my experienced , i have written almost 500 but my earnings didn't reach $10 for my 6 months of writing in that site. Too far from from our earnings in Mylot . I prefer to stay here more and there i will just visit for my poetic expression.

I think the payment is too low, should have go to 30 dollars. Anyway, you can work there still if you think is worth it.

well, I think that it is not bad, because your articles stell there and you will receve from them form now in on. there are like 5 months I don't write fro shvoong, but I keep get $0.80 per month, and when I used to work hard on there, I used to get much more. it is not how much articles you write, but how many views you have on those articles, you have to write something that is popular. thank you for your discussion and don't give up shvoong now, try one or 2 months more and see if you can get more views.

Yeah me too ,, Totally disappointed with shvoong .. I try to put my articles a lot but it's not raise my account, although I got a lot of visitors .. Well now i just think it's just for fun, if i have time, i put some articles for information :)

Oh wow! 99 articles for only .34? I dont think thats a good site. Bubblews pay more than that. Specially that you submitted 99 articles.
