It is reported that Paul Ryan is attempting to fight Obamacare again with his new budget. But, more and more governors are not only taking Obamacare money, but praising what the programs will do for the states. John Kasich praised Obamacare during his state of the state address. http://www.redstate.com/jasonahart/2013/02/21/kasich-repeats-medicaid-expansion-lies-in-ohio-state-of-the-state-address/ Now more GOP governors are accepting Obamacare money, Michigan, Arizona, New Jersey are not on board with Obamacare. So why is the GOP fighting each other over Obamacare?

It is the law of the land and they cannot exist without the money, the way that Obamacare is set up. Since you are of the less informed you probably haven't heard the latest prediction that the cost of Obama care is way over 2 trillion dollars, almost 3 trillion. This is almost 3 times what Obama predicted. How could he have missed the cost by 3 times. We cannot afford Obamacare, and it needs repealed. By the way, where is your links of GOP Governors praising it? Don't have them, it didn't happen!

The funny thing about predictions is they are like @sswholes everyone has one. Why don't we wait for it to go into to effect before we crucify it, or even who knows actually like it?

You have a point but you also have to be logical.

Your silly crossbones, you have to work off from predictions and models to see what effects it has and to create budgets. Oh yeah, I forgot, demorats do not do budgets.

I found out when I went to set up a dentist appointment for my daughter that the supplemental insurance she had was terminated. She received a medicaid card in the mail some time ago which I suppose is the B.O. one. I never signed her up for one-they just sent it. If it covers more great. She, being one of the many disabled should be taken care of properly and medicare doesn't provide much. Now, she's getting medicare, medicaid and paying $20 a month for something she never asked for. Seeing as it was forced it shouldn't be coming out of her pocket, but I guess I shouldn't complain until they starting taking half or more of her disability.

That sounds like more of a state issue. It sounds like your state did this, not the president.

A lot of governors will just take any money sent their way. It IS their money. You know that right? And not just because the federal government is taking their tax dollars and giving some back with strings attached, but because they keep printing more money, increasing inflation and devaluing the dollars the people of these states already have as an invisible tax. I can't say I saw Kasich "praising" Obamacare in that article. He was just taking the money and making up lame excuses as to why he wouldn't turn the money away. Really, if these governors want it, they should be implementing that crap in their own states like Romney did. The federal government does not have the authority under the constitution to do this.

Taskr, I do understand that the money they are agreeing to has come from residents of that state. But, there are much more stipulations for this money than in the past. You may say that he wasn't praising "Obamacare", but you can see from the article that the right wingers weren't happy at all that he even thought about taking the money. So anything that Kasich says about taking the Obamacare money that isn't NO would be considered praise. This was Kasich's point, that he is working with the government to implement this the way he wants to. Just like Rick Scott in Florida, and I am sure that both GOP governors are doing this for the same reason: MONEY!!! (of course Rick's move of moving it through the private sector will make him money right away, Kasich will either have to wait for reelection, or when he is thrown out of office again)

Everyone seems to have their own opinion on Obamacare. Elected officials of the government are included in this. Senators and governors should get together and weed out the negativity of the program and look for the positive results that will helkp everyone get good healthcare.

The problem is that a lot of the un-insured will still be un-insured. It picks up a a few, off from other people's money, but not all of them.

Yes there was a lot of flaws in the system, insurance competing over state lines would have helped to make insurance prices lower and better coverage, but the playing field becomes too small. Many businesses will be cutting back on employees and hours of employees, and many believe government knows this, that they want people on the public assistance health care. Europe does it, but the tax rate is anywhere from 40 to 70%. And of course I hear there are very long waiting lines as there is not so much motivation to go into the medical field, as government gets more of the kickback. I think Obamacare is simply creating another layer of expense (and bureaucracy). Which to me is logic. Government being basically always the same, loving to morph into biGGer government (not really so inspired to bless the people! as so many seem to believe these days).

I don't mean to pick on you but who's fault is that. Its definitely not the people who believe in this. Its more the people that believe we should make money off of sick people. I have said this time and time again, some thing aren't meant for profit. If people that can't handle that, then they should not get in that business. Its not to say doctors and nurses can't get paid, it just means they are doing it for the right reason. There is plenty of doctors and nurses who go in the military and have long healthy careers with out getting over paid at the expense of sick people.
