It's been quite a while since I've played Sims but I do remember when I created my Sim that I did make sure that most of the traits that she had were traits that I myself possess. The traits that I remember choosing were: Family oriented Ambitious Creative Romantic With the traits that I chose for my husband, I actually went with the traits that my dream man would have as opposed to my real husband.

Those you selected are good traits to have in real life . Well you choosing different traits for your husband is ok because sims is where we escape reality and do whatever we want to do.

Not telling you what to do here but you could use her real traits and choose to have a boyfriend with the others? That is so bad. I found it difficult actually to do because I find that traits do change or maybe I find it difficult to qualify someone unless it is really obvious. I guess we can try different things and see what happens as the sims wouldn't mind they are just having fun in their world...sometimes. Not, if the bed is blocked by a end table or something.

Sorry I meant his real traits. The game is a lot of fun playing, I like this the best. Sims characters and how we think of our own life by examining what they do.

I am going to be artistic, because that's what am I, am the type of person who loves throwing out ideas, I am also a hardworker, since I do multitasking a lot of times. I dislike children, though do have plan to have kids in the future but at this moment I dslike children. I am immune with the cold because the office air conditioner felts like am in Norway but while everyone is covered in jackets, I am just wearing a shirt. I am a great kisser and when I am still in a relationship, Woohoo is one of my favorite past time.

Lol, yeah me too I love the brave trait just for that and plus when there is a fire they will always go and put it out. That's one trait I like that my hubby has in real life. Aw, that sucks about not having the pets. I enjoy having the pets they're so much fun.

I wouldn't say because I keep making a list and then I change it the next day. It might be more practical for me to pick just one trait or maybe two. I know there is a point in time with enough rewards where you can redefine yourself but then you might be old and grey by then. I've also read somewhere online someone created a mod for various diseases. Now that might make us think about how we want to encourage ourselves to be. And consider which is more important have security or kisses in the dark.

The 3 main traits I try stick with whenever I am starting a new family and making a sim based on me is ambitious because i am always trying to improve myself , adventurous because I love trying new things going new places and meeting new people , Childish because I am still a kid at heart even when I act mature I try to enjoy life to the fullest . Oh my I wold not used that mod

I don't play Sims that often, but if I'm playing, I base the starting Sim on me... maybe twist her a little bit, but basically, she would be my cyber-alterego. I make her have a boyfriend sometime later... earlier I kind of based the boyfriend on an idealised non-existent ideal... but now I either base him on my boyfriend. And sometimes I try to create and write stories and novels, and then my Sims are based on the characters from my novel-to-be.

Thats how I feel most time even though its based on me with traits I may turn up things a little more to my alter ego in game play . I sometime based some of my sims off movie character , like when i got the supernatural expansion I created twilight based character lol Bella , Jacob and Edward . Good luck with your novel , I think using sim game play is a good way to get inspiration .

Oh I love sims. Even when it first started on PC, I made sure that I have that game. Then I also played on my PSP, my iPad, and then I also installed the 3rd installment on my laptop. I like how you can make or break their lives lol! If I would be a sim, I am most likely going to be a bookworm, childish, friendly, and neat. Pretty boring lol!

I love it also , even though I started playing in about 2007 I started from the first generation and go through all of them . I also love that we have control of their lives . Lol whenever I make a sim with the bookworm traits, that sim would also join the journalist career . I love childish sim they can always have fun .
