A couple of years back, ok, well, 6 years ago to be exact, I posted a discussion about Marc Nelson. 2 years after the discussion was posted, a comment was posted on it and I was just delighted I gave that commenter the Best Response 'award'! In his Twitter account, @QuickOffTheMarc, Marc Nelson describes himself as "TV Host, Model, Activist and travel fanatic." Travel fanatic that he is, this guy from Australia is a globetrotter who has perused the Philippines way more than I have ever done and I was born and raised Filipino, by golly! OK, by virtue of the honor bestowed upon me as the writer of this myLot discussion, I confer upon Marc Nelson the title: Honorary Filipino. The point of this discussion is, well, I just want to share with everyone in the myLot community: "Humility is attractive." Remember it was 6 years ago that I made that post, wondering "how in the world I could get to meet him." I was still single back then but 'in defense of me,' I wasn't really head-over-heels. I wasn't even a fan. Let's just say it was a celebrity crush, alright? Seriously though, in this day and age of social media, nothing is impossible! And while we all have our 'lives' here in myLot, we do have our lives outside of it, right? I've long been gone from myLot and went on my 'usual' life outside of it, including getting married to a wonderful guy whom I call 'Souldier, my 'Ray' of sunshine' who also loves running. I also got preoccupied with other social media tools and my number one favorite became Twitter. Long and short of it, I followed Marc Nelson in Twitter. Today he has 77,715 followers and guess what? We just had a 'Conversation'! Pretty cool, huh? Thanks, Marc, for the honor of your reply! Much appreciated! Summertime beckons and Marc Nelson is up to a hot, hot launching this weekend.
