I thought so too because the avatar is responsible for how people are going to see you on mylot. It kind of has an effect on first impressions

yeah nothing wrong infact its cool but it also look sad at the same time.
i feels like i have been scolded by my parents for the mischieve that i have not committed. sounds very odd hehehe but that is still cool because it shows too much of emotions and that is fine for me as well like you.

I think your avatar is cute but looks extremely sad. So the problem might be that people think you are a sad person with alot of problems. My avatar is believe it or a picture that I took from my tv at the first party after President Obama became President. Its very abstract with my favorite colors that is what I loved about it. It was the background of when they were dancing I believe.

I chose an avatar when a friend told me that I needed one to have a personality at myLot. Your avatar does not express the joy of living, but it certainly contributes to your myLot personality. I recognize members at their avatar and yours is easy to recognize, which is an advantage. A suggestion : if you change, you have to think at the image you want to give here when selecting a cool or not so cool picture, and this picture has to be original enough to permit to recognize you immediately when you start a discussion.

Hey,
Personally I don't like your avatar only, because it looks very sad. I haven't used my real photos in my profile pictures. I think people don't need to know how I look in real life. I have some of my photos in my profile. If anyone would like to know how I look in real life they have a chance to contact me personal.

I have sam picture like your avatar in my computer. I copied it few years ago from random site and once using it as my profile picture in facebook but now I change. It looks cool and funny at the same time. I have different emotion for that picture. I don't use my own picture, here on my avatar I use my niece's picture. Her mom took this picture after she is being cranky and then her mom asking her to sit in the corner for some minutes as punishment like in the Nanny 911 she looks funny thats why I use this picture

Hi patnopy!
I am not very particular about avatar but if others are not comfortable with this one, then maybe you can reconsider about having anew one.
I personally use my own picture in almost any site that I have.
Have a great day!

nothing is wrong with your avatar but when i see the tears of that smiley, it encourages me likely to cry too. see that picture? big tears i can see. i commented about it when you make comment reply to one of my discussion. gee, it is really sad seeing those big tears in it's eyes.

I think that they were just wondering why your avatar is weeping, and if the avatar is representing what you feel now. Nothing wrong about the avatar - in fact, it is a nice avatar. I think that it is the tears that triggered the question marks. If you were using a smiling emoticon, I am sure it will not have attracted too much attention.

There is nothing wrong with your avatar my friend. I find such emoticon based avatars pretty interesting. As you can change it all the time to show different feelings that you are feeling at that moment. For example, the crying emoticon that you are using now show us that you are probably feeling unhappy about what certain people talked about you profile picture. Don't mind them and continue to do what you like.

yes right it is right it is my decision to change it any time that i like but any way i choose my avatar because i found cool about it and also i am feeling sorry that i forgot my 2nd account password and can't access to the email that i use to signed up here same story on my 1st account so to enable me to back here and mylot i create this 3rd account so maybe that's how explain why i pick my avatar

Dear patnopy,
Why the picture is shedding tears, looking so sad,
make the Avatar picture so happy. That is my opinion.

There is nothing wrong with it. It just makes your discussion be seen in a depressed light. But its not bad if you want it to be seen that way. If you did, then it is effective.
