Has anyone been to Dumaguete?

Hello my friends in the Philippines! Has any of you been to Dumaguete already? I am scheduled to go there by mid April, but I do not know what other things we could do besides visit Apo Island.
Could you share it, please?

Yes I went there already though not for the tour but I just accompanied my mom when she had her conference. We didn't really tour around Dumaguete but at least we went to the bars like Hayahay and other more. I forgot names. We also went to the cathedral of Dumaguete. When my Mom had her conference in Bethel I am roaming around during that time that I almost memorized the places. I also like the Sansrival where you can taste the delicious dessert. We went to Bais to see dolphins although not so much.
. Never been there. Hopefully someday ill be able to visit.

Been there once in 1989. Dropped by St, Paul College. Dumaguete is where Silliman University is, the home of great writers.
Have a good trip.
