Do You Wipe?

There has been a lot of radio adds about recycling computers as completely 'safe'. I'm not buying that. I'm all for donating an old computer to a senior center or group home for internet use but would wipe the hard drive first. There is just too much information in the hard drive.
So do you donate your old computers? Do you wipe them yourself or take them into a computer guy have have it done as a precaution?

Yes I like to wipe my computer's hard disk myself and it is too easy to be done. any one can do it, who has the basic knowledge of computer.
