Plan Before You Plan-Isn't this silly?

Business strategy in the past is to plan and then execute the plan. Today I just heard a new unfamiliar strategy and that is "Plan Before You Plan." Honestly, I don't have a full grasp of this thing yet but I am on the process of learning it. What do you think does the new strategy which I mentioned mean?

I think it's just a fancy new term for planning really thoroughly. Like pre-planning the plan, and making even more B, C, D, E... plans, and being more aware of the consequences.

That is a good thought on the matter and I think you are logically correct in what you've said. Yes Pre-planning is a plausible meaning of plan before you plan.

I think that means to have a good knowledge of the matter. To feel and understand the trends and their development and to go ahead planing when it`s appropriate. You should have the necessary training to fulfill your plans. Then you are ready to act.

Hi niki, thanks for responding here. Yeah, could agree with you. Before launching anything, you must plan but you can't plan fully unless you don't have a good understanding of trends and other important matters of the course you want to achieve. yeah it makes sense to me.

Hi jdalaqui Well what I think another way this could mean is Plan Ahead I have heard if you spell it out Plan Ahea and the d is missing this is why you always need to plan ahead. I am not sure if this makes sense to you or not but everyone needs a good plan to have any plan work.

Hi Laurenlyn, thanks for responding here. As dorroffee was mentioning a above, it could mean pre-planning. Do you think it is the same with planning ahead? I can't really fathom your whole idea but I guess it makes sense.
