Have you ever been some one's "gofer"? (This is actually a word and is in the dictionary.) Don't get confused with the animal gopher, but this is "gofer." A "gofer" is a person that when some one needs something and they say, "Will you "gofer" this part and I also need this part,so "gofer" this part too" Yes, a "gofer" is nice to have around, because you don't have to "gofer" this part or this part, your "gofer" can do it for you while you're fixing some thing else. You've got to love a "gofer!"

Oh so that's how they're called. Yes, I used to have one but it was a very long time a go. When I was in high school, she was my Bestfriend. She always gofer for me by doing my projects and homework when I am absent from school. I was also a gofer myself, I used to do my other friends' homework for free snacks and other stuff :)).

In my first job, I was a gofer. It was part of my training, but after that, I would do things for people, but they did not send me out time and time again. I was the type who believed in doing everything at once. Besides being a gofer reminded me of those math problems, when you went to the store to get some butter, and then had to return again with the butter and something else to return, then get some ham in exchange but forgot to pick up the celery, etc.

when i was in law school, i was helping one of my teachers in an internship. i guess this would count as being a gofer, as i did all his light work while he took care of the heavy stuff.

We had a pet shop before and had Max until now even if the pet shop have long closed down. He is the person that all of us would be looking for to get things done in the house and to so errands for us. He's been with us for the past 14 years.

I think most of us have been a gofer at some point in our lives. Parents especially, when their children are enfants the mom (usually) is going to get the bottle, diapers etc. When the kids get older the parents have to kids gofer them to get stuff . So I think everyone has been a gofer at least once in their life.
