Falling star

I've heard people say about wishing upon it. But I never did. don't follow these superstitions that much. Coz I feel that they really is no truth to them so why bother? But some superstitions, although I really would not do them, but if I were told by an elder, I will just follow them so that they would not get mad.

Even i had heard about this but i never got the chance to see a falling star. In my childhood i used to look out for a falling so i could wish my teacher never distributes my test papers lol.

I use to believed in it when I was a kid. Every night I look at the sky hoping for a falling star so I can make a wish. As I grow up- I realized those childish thing in the past. But yes, there's no harm in making a wish upon a star.

actually my sister told me about this,she saw a falling star when she was in the province and her wish was all about of her future husband,and it happened,but she don't know if it is because to the falling star or if it is her destiny to happen.

I heard that, but since I don't believe it, so I never doing that, and it against my religious believe too for believing things like that, but yes some people do that.

i been see falling star but i still not yet experience to wish on it, i forgot my wish while viewing the falling star

Well lets hope your dream comes true my friend, I have to admit that I have never seen a falling star, but if I did I know what I'd dream for, but it would be a selfish wish.

I make no wishes, I just enjoy the beauty of the shooting star.

I don't believe in superstitions, also. However, I when a falling star is seen I try to make a good wish. I think it is no harm trying. I may have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I've seen shooting stars several times during my life. In fact, the most recently that I saw a shooting star was about three weeks ago when my husband and I were on our way home from our late Valentine's Day celebration. When I saw the shooting star, of course I made a wish (which I won't share on here for fear that then the wish would not come true). It's always been my thing to make a wish when I see a shooting star.

When i was in college, me and my friends went to the beach owned by our University within the premises. We got drank there because there was a rock concert that night and spent the whole night at the beach. We were all lying on the sand when we saw falling stars. Not only once but several times. I made wishes. None of them came true. According to Paulo Coelho in his book, the Alchemist, when one really wants something, the universe will conspire and make things come true. I believe in that. If we really believe for things to happen to us, it shall come true if we do something about it and desire it with all our hearts. Other things will just follow.

Well, what I can do falling stars come true our desires, is an ancient tradition. However I am not at all superstitious on topic. Sometimes I have to say, though rarely seeing some falling star, but at the moment I have never expressed any desire. A phenomenon of falling stars in Italy is usually visible around the date of 10 August. In this regard, an Italian writer named Giovanni Pascoli wrote a poem on purpose inherent in this astrological phenomenon.

I have not seen a falling star. You are so blessed to see such. We dont know if wishing thru it is true but I believe in that. There would not be any loss if we keep on believing.Right?

Never see any falling start or comet all my life. I always wonder if wishing upon a fallling star or comet will make my dream really come true. If it's true I will chasing over falling star around the world

Hi roshigo, i would love to have a chance at seeing a falling star, and that i hope i would be able to also see and wish to it as it falls from the sky. I am not very superstitious, but hey, i am okay to follow somethings attributed to these, of course. ;) I often even would wish on a single lone star in the sky and hope the wind takes it away for me and for God to hear it :D

I have heard this but it was only during my school days that I wished for centum in Maths or similar things. Now I don't do it.

When I was a kid, I was told so. I have never wished anything on seeing a falling star. I think if you stay out at night and look up to the sky, you will see one falling star.

Yes, me too, I do believe when we wish upon a star, it will happen. I've tried it once and it did happen. I do really love stargazing, most especially when I am in our province because it is partly high and so heaven is very clear.

I'm just like you, i'm not superstitious but i always make a wish when i see a falling star. It's a habit from childhood and even if some people think it's stupid or childish i'm still making a wish :)

I have seen falling star many times in my childhood, specially in summer and sleeping in the yard of our home, I used to wish something that time, I also heared that if you see falling star and wish that time your wish will come true, I do not remember that time waht I wish, but I wish to see one of those again because now I know what I have to wish.
