I'd rather choose Joomla to build online store. The problem with Joomla is that you have to have domain as well as hosting. I heard Joomla could draw more traffic to your site.

I think that's expensive. I don't have enough funds for that. Right now, I'm only looking for a website wherein I can promote my products free of charge if possible. I am also thinking of targeting people in my locality. Thanks for dropping by!

I think you are right about using free websites to build your store. However, you will need a custom domain sooner or later.

That would be my future plan. As of now, I don't have a budget for that. I only have a small capital. Your idea is great though.

i think it is worth it especially if you have found someone who can make your multiply store really look nice. most of the people's who have online businesses have multiply sites too I do not know about their fees, but i remember them being free before.

Hi champoy, Yes that is true. I remember back when multiply was not for stores and stuffs... people did have a lot of account in there and its like friendster. But they managed to service a lot of the people who does online businesses and it was a hit.
I am sure you can and you will find it helpful for your business too. when you are all done and set up you can share the site with me and I can help put it up on my blog. so I hope that would also help you with the traffic. :D goodluck on your business!

I also notice that. I found many multiply sites owned by Filipinos. I think this is a good business. I created an account today and I found out that they are waiving transaction fees until June 2013. I hope other mylotter can help me regarding this matter. Thanks anyways for sharing chiyosan!

I think for multiply it is free. I had one before during the social networking format but i deleted it... if you want to just post your products and let customers pay online, Multiply is okay. But if you just want post your products, pretty much all websites are okay. You just have to indicate the policies, rules, and terms of agreement... like where can they pay, how long is the shipping, "pay first before delivery" policy, return policy, can you also do meet ups? etc.
i suggest a facebook page, more to showcase your product and a company website... blogger and wordpress format is fine... you can also use weebly... goodluck! :)
