a place to stay

Chaoyang, China
March 14, 2013 6:42am CST
I'm going to Mexico and will be staying there for a whole year. I know foreigners are not allowed to buy land there. I just want a place to stay for a year, probably a negotiable rate. I'd need a pretty big place since I'll be with my family.

I suggest you look on AirBNB to find a place to stay for say 1 month, then take some advice from local people in the area as to where you may be able to rent what you need.

@KLiberman I have never boon to Mexico, but I have stayed in many towns across the world and that has always been my approach, find a local guest house or Bed and Breakfast then find a place to stay. It is surprising how many places are available on company noticeboards, I have often found a place to stay within the first week (even if I can't move in for a little while).

You can buy property in Mexico.
