yes,that is true,there are many thief people now a days and they are scattered everywhere,sometimes you may not know them because they usually dress like a professional dresses,and the reason why they do that because of the poverty and luck of income.

Its due to poverty and lack of employment, i noticed many people has graduated in college but still they can't find work. What more if a person didn't even finished high school? they tend to do bad and illegal things to survive. Its the concerned of the government, but sad to say they work on it. Now crimes is rampant.

Maybe bad situation is the reason. Now many young people are out of job, as they can not have suitable way to support themselves, they choose to be chief. As they do not hurt your daughters, I think they still can be changed. When they can have jobs and incomes to support themselves, they will become normal people.

That's horrible! But I am happy that the thieves' attempt is unsuccessful! It's bad if their attempt is successful because it will cause so much trauma for your daughter and the friend. I hope something like that won't ever to happen again. May God be with you.

The thief is very hateful in our life,these people should be punished by law,i hope that all the people will be safe and sound,and there is no chief in our life in the future.

Hello mods196621, This is one of the main reasons why I slept late at night waking up late also. though there are times that i really want to sleep early because sleeping late could give me health complications. but your story has prompted me to keep being awake at night because of this problem that we too might face. another thing is that we have a weak roof also but a very secured home, a little bit. I think it's best to start securing your windows and doors, have more dogs if you need to. we only have one but i make sure she's ready every damn night. add more security features and put more padlocks that couldn't be duplicated.

It's good that your husband came in time. Yeah, there are people who wants to earn money quick even to the extent of harming others. So, we must always be careful and alert all the time. Having a guard dog or installing CCTV would be helpful to ward of criminal minded people.

If that's not possible, keep your daughters armed with pepper spray. One shot in the eyes and bam! the perpetrator is temporarily blinded.

Hi there ! Oh my ! This is very traumatic ! There are lots of thief around because the world is becoming dirty . Values are deteriorating because of people are becoming too materialistic and yet no source where they can use to acquire those material needs so resort to stealing. If they live only a simple life , they won't wish to have things which they can't afford . others. reason is because of poverty . People are not given the chance to work , no means where to address the basic needs , so go for stealing , though this doesn't justify that it is okay if they steal. Government has to address poverty and unemployment , this will help lessen the stealing and robbery of the country. Never was there a safe place in the world now because people's values deteriorated. Thinking of self than others. Killing others for their needs. A very condemning deeds , unforgivable !

I make some extra security on my door, I hang some string with noisy bells on my door and windows as an alarm if someone enter my room silently.

Sometimes I just think people are desperate or people have bad experience and wish to seek revenge for whats been done wrong to them out onto other people. I try to make sense of why people steal and are cruel but really there is no excusing it, you cannot justify something like that.

Yeah, thieves are everywhere, and we are very responsible with our own selves and loved ones. I had a bad experienced also with thieves. My wallet and cellphone was being robbed twice and they were not yet satisfied, they took away my 3 jeans hanging outside. What a bad day.
