Do you have "Your Song?" What is it?

I connect many of my relationships with a certain song that seems written for us. The song even changes with time as new songs arise and the relationship changes with time.
From "This Magic Moment" to "My Prayer" to "Your Song" the answer to thios question changes for me... how about for you?

I'm a big fan of music and i listen to music everyday,i find some songs with melodies i like and thus i feel good all day.I don't think i just only listen to one singer or one type of music. So i can't list all songs i like.Anyway,i become energetic in terms of music.

It was when I felt that no one would love me and would even like me that he came to my life. It was those days that i was recovering from a very bad break up, recovering for a painful experience with my ex who cheated on me. And he knew he was the one that was really patient, he was the one that tried to understand me, and he was the one that made me feel special and loved again (of course after feeling so dumped and ugly and unimportant).
The song i always think of with him is the song of Rascal Flatts. Its called "Bless the broken road". Whenever I hear this song, It is him that I remember and it is him that i have on my mind. All the broken roads, all the people who hurt me in the past was part of the greater plan of God and it led me to him. It was so much like my sotry and ours now. That I have had such a path in life, where I thought I could no longer feel love, i could no longer trust anyone... but he came just in time and he came to be with me. He is the blessing that God gave me, and I am now in good hand with him, and that he is always going to want me to be okay and would want me to be happy. :D

I would just like to share here a few lines to the song, i hope you all would find it wonderful too...
I set out on a narrow way many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you
Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart they were like Northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you
I think about the years I spent just passing through
I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you
But you just smile and take my hand
You've been there you understand
It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true
Now I'm just rolling home
Into my lover's arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you
Okay, i could not stop as i memorized this song by heart and could even cry listening to it with my BF. hehe it is really my song for him. :D Sorry it had to be the whole song. :D

I'm not suite sure we planned on having "a song" for our relationship. I think it just advertantly happened and we really didn't pay attention. Our songs are quite corny actually, like "Right Thru Me" "In Love With A Girl" "Trading Places" "My Girl". Actually that last one isn't very corny at all.

Wow, I can easily name plenty of songs that reflect a certain point in my life. And it's not just limited to the relationships but also other stuff.
Here are some songs to name a few:
Again - Yui (Japanese)
Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now - David Pomeranz
In This Distant City - Naomi Kitani
Runaway - The Corrs
Just In Love - S.E.S.
With A Smile - Eraserheads
Indeed, music is a universal language.

I never thought about using a song to represent my past relationships, but it can be a something memorable though. As matter of fact, listening to a certain songs remind me of my past, and the girls I once love. So, I would consider label my past relationships with a song. Good idea.

hi,this is a great topic,i have many different songs in regards to my relationship, there are songs i hear and just have to reach out to my partner for a dance, there are those that remind me of a time we quarreled and there are some that make me just realise how much i love him but ofcourse the song we had danced to on our wedding day will always be special and since am a big fun of RnB those songs are timeless and will never really die.
