In my opinion giving excess importance to "Role model" isn't positive to natural creative power and individuality of persons having abilities above average level. It is good to bring motivation to to persons having abilities up to average level.

A role model is look up to especially by young people who seem to look for a hero or somebody they can follow footsteps. This is good because all of us wants to find motivation and inspiration for us to aspire more. But of course it is really difficult for that particular role model to live up with others expectations because one false move can affect the lives of the people who look up to you.

Hi gowtham, I don't know if I had a role model when I was growing up.
I had a mother who taught me Love, Morals, to respect others and do
my best to alway do the right thing...Thats what I have tried to live my
by..It has worked for me thus far..I just need to remember the Golden
Rule my Grandmother taught me 'DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM
DO UNTO YOU"...Life is very simple do the rught thing and you don't
have to look up to no one but God....
