He overloaded the washer and yelled at me

O, boy. Here we go again. The newer tenant overloaded the washer and threw it off balance. I didn't quite know what the sound was, and for several minutes I was trying to figure it out then went downstairs. He was by the washer. I asked what was going on, he said he has it handled. He had his hand on the washer and wouldn't let me look in it! He turned it on and I told him if he breaks it, he is never using it again. He says he'll pay for it if it breaks, but he bums smokes off me so how can that be possible.
The washer went off balance again and I opened it up and told him to get his clothes out of it. He had several pair of jeans, a terry bathrobe and several other items in it. I was fuming! Yet, he is yelling at me as though I am the one who did something wrong. He brought up the garbage (his job is to take it to the curb and last week he forgot and this week it isn't going to be done because it's too heavy for me to drag so I will have 3 weeks of garbage in my cans now)
Anyway, getting back on track, the other day the washer ran almost all day. He lied to me when I asked him about it, because I was thinking there was a toilet leak or something until I went into the basement and realized it was the washer. I just wanted to know why the water was running all day is all, I wasn't mad at him though perplexed he had that much wash to do.
So, he is downstairs making noises and yelling for a few hours. I texted him to quit that it is 1 am. He said what do you mean, then whatever followed. I am very upset at the disrespect I am getting in my home, but it never ends. If I tell him to leave, I will need another tenant so I can make my bills. I will more than likely end up in a similar situation, or it could be worse and it has been worse.
I hate being upset in my own house about someone in my house. But, if i tell him to leave then I still have yet to fill the space. Then again, his behavior may end up driving the other guy out, and so far he's alright but it's only been a month, I'm sure in another 2-3 months there will be a change because there always is.
What would you do in my situation? Please keep me in prayer. I need the money, I would like the peace but apparently I am not going to get it as long as I am in the financial situation I am in.

I can't understand why you wanted to look at his wash if he had told you he had it under control.
Is this really a Landlord tenant, it sounds almost like boyfriend girlfriend to me, rules changing and all.
As Landlord do you have a written agreement with him as to his responsibilities in the household. If you do then put him out for not following the rules if not Hopefully he will just leave. In meantime I will keep you in my prayers to find a suitable tenant to replace him with.

I guess I'm doing well all things considered, Sara has had a couple more blood clots and they have added a new med to help with that so I guess we are well. Meds are so high I have had to go back to work just to keep from going into debt. ObamaCare!
We have had to move as the bank foreclosed on the building we were in. We are still in the same neighborhood so all is not lost I can slip around the corner and pick blackberries that I set out. I have plans to build a raised garden of about 12ft by 6ft and plant some corn and peas, maybe some zucchini and cucumber. This morning it is snowing so I will have to put that off a few more days.

I never considered I would be overstepping my boundaries by checking his wash, since the washer did go out of balance twice with the same load. Food for thought.
Thank you for your prayers. How are you doing? I am excited about beginning the gardening again, though they have not yet torn down the house next door that is falling apart. I need the land for my veggies. I can probably plant one tomato, one green pepper and that's about it. I really want to grow some small zucchini, I love eating it raw. What are you planning on planting this year?

Man if I were you I would definitely consider changing up landlords. You could also try to sue him depending what country you are in. If you are in a third world country might want to take matters in your own hand. Whatever you do, use your brain and be smart about the maneuvers you make. Violence should be the last resort. Hope this helps and have a nice day!
