The Hassle of Unemployment

When I was working in a developing country on my previous job, I keep on saying to myself that I will get out of there because I am overworked and underpaid. Now that I am facing a new era of my life where I am in some form of transition from landing a career overseas and getting a job in here.. The fear of unemployment is creeping into me. My mind is in total panic mode knowing that tomorrow I will wake up and I have nowhere to go, nothing to do and no income at all. I am one of those people who will go crazy if they do not land a job somewhere. Hands up if there's anyone in me that feels the same way as I do? That you do fear that unemployment will deem as permanent on you and that job hunting is the worst part of anyone's life?

I hate unemployment too. It doesn't just make me feel useless but it is a heavy toll on the self confidence too, getting worse as more time passes without finding a job. One has to really find the energy and the optimism to get through it and to focus on abilities and accomplishments rather than insecurities and failures.

thanks for the response. yeah, it really creates an impact on self confidence. I agree with you. When people ask me what I'm doing, I cannot come up with an answer. That's why I resort to doing something productive like online income, no matter how meager that is
