on march 17th, macky and danica will have their baptism and i am so excited because i did everything from church, souvenir, reception, 2 pairs of godmother and godfather and their clothes to wear. i am thankful because my father helped me for all the expenses, my family helped me all the time. i am very blessed to have this kind of family that always supporting me even if i have my own family they are always there to support and love me, they are not tired of giving love to me and to my family. can you share of your moments of your child's baptism day? how do you prepare for it from church to reception?their clothes and souvenir? thank you!

I remember when I was Baptized at the age of 7 and it was one of my best experiences in life. From what I remember my mom and dad was so happy and proud for me and my choice for following Jesus and becoming baptized. I don't remember that much about the church preparing for my baptism, although I remember taking an extra set of clothes with me for after. I also don't think I had any reception after or any souvenirs from it. This might be a difference from country to country or even a difference from the different religions and how they perform baptisms.

thank you for the response elvis! yes it is true that in different country there is a different way of performing baptism. some baptism done when they are baby, some are toddlers and some are in tween but in whatever kind of baptism it may be, the important is how will you accept Jesus as your savior in your life deep in your heart.

That is true. Depending on your religious denomination is also when the preferred time for baptism is. Because I am what is called a Baptist, we are baptized when we choose to follow Jesus and ask him into our heart as our personal savior.

Praise the Lord. God always celebrates when one becomes a christian. I also welcome them to the christian world. Well said cpman1979.

yes that is true because i also felt that feelings when my three nieces and one nephew had their baptism, because you will prepare food, gives away and also to choose who would be the godfather and godmother of your child.and the best of all is the gift from the godparents.LOL.

they are not twins, they are just having it together at the same time to save money and time.
