I'm more on the agreeing. It's one way of helping oneself especially women with the dangerous world we live in this generation. Though not all people are interested to learn because they think it's tiresome and for some women, it's too rough. I'm a woman and I have learn 1 martial art and 2 self-defense and it helps me for more than one occasions already.
But I can't help it that some people use martial arts and self-defense to start a fight or make money out of it. For me, it's an insult.
What do you mylotters think?

I agree, self defense should be part of curriculum but then doesnt it make your enemies more strong. I totally dagree with you that we should avoid the situation in our present society which degrades womens but then i guess importance should be given to the enemy side from school that is they should be taught more moral values

I agree with everything you say. I am only hoping they won't increase school tuitions too much for self defense classes, lol, school tuitions are already high without them.
