Dark chocolate is loaded with nutrients that can positively affect your health.
Made from the seed of the cocoa tree, it is one of the best sources of antioxidants on the planet.
Studies show that dark chocolate (not the sugary crap) can improve health and lower the risk of heart disease.

Hi jembizz21, I had bought two bars of dark chocolate while having holidays in New Zealand. It's said that eating a little dark chocolate could keep our heart healthy. May be like saying in one of the post dark chocolate will help to lower the bad cholesterol. I'm glad if it's really good in protecting the heart for I love chocolate would take it frequently
Happy posting

Yes I've read it before about the benefits of dark chocolate to one's health and among the benefits (as far as I can remember) is that dark chocolate is supposed to help lower blood cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.

If by black chocolate you mean dark chocolate then yes it most certainly has some benefits. Its healthier than either milk or white chocolate because it contains antioxidants in the vast amounts of cocoa in it. The higher the percentage of cocoa the more bitter it is but also the more antioxidants it contains. There are nutrients that help fight free radicals and helps prevent cancer.
