I still prefer the natural ways of playing rather sitting around and pressing the buttons for playing. It's worthwhile to be physically fit and to perspire rather fronting to monitor and laptops with Wifi connections and playing. I guess goin to the library and looking for a book and reading inside the library is more convenient than copy paste some assignment on the net. And people has long patience then compared today since everything is easy access even crime rates increases unlike before. which do you prefer guys?

I find playing video games unhealthy especially when you play with it for almost the entire day. I always prefer to play games that involve physical movements. It's good for our body. But with the research, homework, project things, I prefer technology because it is more convenient and fast, it helps when you don't really have enough time to go to the library or other places just to get information.

yes, maybe but then kids will learn how to get things done on the process rather than getting things at their easiest ways the hardship and doing research will be best exercise through visiting the library and get familiar on how to get the book itself :)

The problem here is the mis-use of technology. Now a days many students log in to various sites to get their homework done by someone else and pay for it. In the entire process they dont even spend few minds of their brain for think about the assignments.

Both of you have a really good point of views, but in my own opinion, children also learn how to be familiar with technology when they do research in the Internet, and I find it positive because this days most people are already depending on the use of technology, which make it good for children since they will learn how to be competitive when it comes to the issue, when they are old enough. And for keeping them responsible on how they use the Internet, that is were the parents or guardians should come in to the scenario to guide them and teach them the proper use of technology or internet.

I prefer the natural ways of playing too but in many cases, for example when I write a paper, I need many source of information and can not find all of them in the library. I will have to spend a lot of time. my work don't allow me to do this. So, I often go to the library when I have free time and want to relax rather than when I want to work

Yes , i have the same feeling too. Natural way of playing and getting sweat and dirt all over the body is a lot more fun than sitting around the p/c pressing the button for playing. Still the old and natural way is better for me.

I like both actually. I use my desktop a lot both for writing, research and playing a game I like. When I go out, since I don't own a handheld or laptop carry pen and paper. To be honest some times you feel odd because not too many people do that these days. As far as exercise goes mostly I've doing nature walks or biking and sometimes summer activities but this winter I've not done much of anything. Not sure why perhaps the weather but it not as healthy as getting out more.

Yes that is true, but only for those who have been going out and playing during their childhood (like me). The new generation that I see is more savvy with technology and wants to do everything online. That is why the gaming industry is becoming one of the major industry. what is your opinion on the new consoles like Kinnect, which allows to play games by physical movements of the player? Its like a compromise where at least some physical movement happens for playing games.

playing physical games is good but then socially and other stuff that a child can get from playing outside still not enough just to play inside the house very limited to play with others at the same time its virtual the mental skills is not really exercise than in actual movement

yeah right. when i was a child and even till 10th standard i used to play outside,,, we friends of whole society used to play together different games.. in evening ground used to be full.. children enjoying.. the good things are we remain physically fit,we play with our friends so its develop some qualities in a child and also be social.. but now when i see in the evening play ground of our society..no1.. at the max 3 4 children that too about 4 to 5 yrs age..would be playing together.. todays generation sit at their home in front of either t.v or monitor.. and just keep harming their eyes and learning nothing..
