Some people using # on FACEBOOK

yes it is annoying seeing people who uses hash tags on their facebook posts. like hello? why don't these people make a twitter account and post what ever hash tag they wanted to post. Do you know that even on text messaging hash tags are there? I have friends who always put hash tags on their texts. yes it its annoying.

hahah you seemed too annoyed, i get that. :) i noticed that ever since people are uploading photos directly to facebook from their instagram account. they put hashtags to posts from instagram and when upload it, then it is from instagram.

I have noticed people starting to to use hashtags on the facebook statuses and on comments.I find this really annoying all I can think is your on the wrong website and if you want to hashtag you should be on twitter.I think it annoys me because people do it because they think that it looks cool.At least on twitter hashtags have a function, allowing topics to trend.Though it annoys me that I find it so annoying that I get so annoyed by something so trivial.I consider myself to be pretty cheerful and patient most of the time.

I don't know about this hash tagging but I do heard it most of the time. Even TV reporters used it in their address link for easy access to their website. I don't use it or planned to but I guess people who uses it just want to emphasize on something they have posted or to catch attention.

I agree Twitter is different from Facebook, and if we want to share it on facebook or twitter we can do it without having hashtags.

I don't have a twitter account and have no idea what a hashtag is or does. I haven't noticed any of my friends on fb using somehting like that.

I do it sometimes when I am making what I feel is a valid point..I am one of those people who doesn't even know how to work twitter (I know, it's sad. I don't get it) In fact, I was just there and my nephew seems to abuse the hashtag a little more than anybody I know. He knows the difference but still uses at least five hashtags per post..I find it kind of funny. Especially if you do actually use twitter..lol

I have a couple that use hashtags sometimes. I don't know why either. Maybe it gets to be a habit. I see people here at myLot using textspeak and abbreviating words. To me, it's lazy. And it's another thing that's annoying to others. They may as well be writing in Pig Latin as doing text speak. How to get people over these annoying habits? Maybe you just can't.
