The show "The Following" is on Monday nights on Fox TV at 9pm depending on where you live. Are any fellow mylotters watching this show with Kevin Bacon. It is about a serial killer locked up in jail who as formed a following of people to do his dirty work while in jail. It is such a well written show with edge of your seat, while yelling at the TV.So many twist and turns that you just can't believe it. You are left with your mouth wide open in shock. It is the best show on TV today. So are you watching? If so, please tell me what you think of it good or bad.

I have been watching it... it started out really good, but the last few episodes have left me a little bit bored. I will keep watching it though, it definitely is worth people watching and seeing if it is their cup of tea :)

It was boring to you this week?? When you found out that Ryan killed the guy who killed his father years ago wasn't that shocking to see? Also with Clair punching Emma in the face. I have not been bored yet watching any of the episodes and now there are only three left till the end.

I do watch the show and started watching because of Kevin Bacon. The show is very violent, so if the people reading this article don't like violence on television skip it. I'll admit some of the violence rally makes me cringe and its so graphic and horrible. It can be hard to waatch innocent people get killed off and it happens a lot.

I laughed at hide my head in a pillow. That just might work for several shows that have caused me to jump out of my seat.

I know when the violent scenes start to happen I hide my face with a pillow. It can be quite gruesome at times but what a show. It keeps you guessing as to what is going to happen next. So many twist and turns is what makes it so good also of course Kevin Bacon.

I find the series a little disturbing especially for young audience which really need to be accompanied and guided. I felt that the producers are taking literature cult over religion cult to avoid raising controversies or ire from religious bodies.
But, it just give literature a bad name where the main plot is making it twisted and exploiting people to a formation of a cults to carry out violence of epic proportion. Maybe, I am simple minded but to me literature is suppose to give us a better grasp of the language, an understanding of culture - educating and most of all, entertaining.
Also, I do not like the fact that the writer is underestimating law enforcement work where it is making it to be some kind of mockery where criminals could penetrate a federal agency like FBI and into the special task force set up to deal with this cult.
Overall, I am uncomfortable with the twisted plot and gory violence.

Yes it is very gory and I do believe they could be giving sick people of the world ideas. Which does scare me a bit. However, I just watch because I can't wait to see the twist and turns but also to see them get the bad guys once and for all.

Hello, Lelin.
I have no idea really about the show. I hardly watch Fox's shows but upon reading your post, I am quite intrigued.
For me, the best shows on tv are the likes shown at history channel, I'm a fan. :-) But I also like those jaw dropping shows like CSI and the likes.
Thank you for sharing this , Lelin. Now I have another option. Sometimes, I have 50 channels and nothing on.

This is actually the first time that I've heard of this program, but I do have to admit that I don't watch a lot of programming on Fox.
That said, this does sound like a television program that is different from most of the other shows that are on right now. In addition to it being different from the other television shows, it also sounds like something that would be appealing to a large group of people.

I watched the first few episodes and kind of liked it but then it started getting more and more violent and I lost interest. The last thing I remember is that guy getting lit on fire and everyone standing around not helping him or recording it on their phones. I may have seen something past then but that stuck with me unpleasantly enough to erase anything that happened afterward.
I'm watching The Cult right now, more of a mystery involving a TV show with a rabid fan base that is turning out to be deadly as well as elusive. It's an interesting concept and I'm enjoying right now. Also, I'm hooked on The Americans. Strangely enough--or not--my ex husband is, too!

I definitely know its violent but I'm just loving it because you don't know who you can trust. Who you think is a good guy or girl and they end up being really part of the Following. Plus Kevin Bacon is so good in this role.

I too love to watch based on true stories, but this one got me from the first show and I only decided to watch it because of Kevin Bacon. Then after the first show I was hooked. That is how good the show is.
