If you think for education in India, I have some interpretations. In India, Government has no sufficient infrastructure to impart higher education to all the citizens.
Thus the higher education is being imparted by the private colleges and universities at huge. The private sector made it a business (I do not have hesitation to say it as a factory). Therefore it has become costly. Sometime out of reach of the middle class students.
Some private institutes that are imparting education within the reach of the students of middle class are using unqualified educators. Thus they are playing with the future of the students and the nature as well.
I am not a person of negative approach but it is not possible to ignore the facts.

Money is really a matter in our study, I have seen some so talented students who could not complete their study because of money problem and I have seen some fool ones who got high edecation by money and buying their exams pass and become graduated. Money is really matter for edecation.

Many employers ask for a diploma, so it's useful in this respect. But if it is too expensive, there are other ways to make it in life, especially if you have the brains and courage. Personally, I'm starting to value informal education more on more. By this I mean the knowledge you get from your peers, your family, or just from living life. Or from reading a book just because you want to (I like to read novels, and I think I learn a lot from them, even though I read for pleasure). At the moment, I feel that my formal education didn't do too much for me. It didn't make me a better person, and it didn't get me a well-paying job.

I am a poor person and I went to college. I got financial aid because I don't have much money. Or if it is a good student there are scholarships too.
I don't think college will get us very far since there are people right now that have advanced degrees working retail jobs or in fast food places!

As for me, I think higher education is very essential to me. During that period, I acquired not only the knowledge of the profession, but much more than that. I learned values, expanded my horizon, and I've grown to be the "real" me, with no restrictions, bias, things like that. It's hard to define the process, but it's very valuable to one's whole life.
So I strongly encourage you to receive the education no matter how much it takes.

yes you can achieve it by making loan and scoring high marks in entrance exam.if you get high mark in entrance they provide half percentage of the total money.you can easily earn money in abroad by doing some part time job. This is the best idea for middle class family.

You are absolutely right about it, it is getting more difficult for student coming from a middle class family background to get a higher education as the year pass us by, even the public tertiary education institutions are facing budget short fall and students parent are forced to pay a higher inflation tuition rate compare to decade ago, very soon, higher education opportunity will be for the rich and wealthy class only while the children of the middle class family will be slowly get phase out in public universities and colleges like the case of private tertiary education institutions of today, if the government continue to spend and waste our tax dollars not where the mouth is and follow the footstep of private sector in making the accessibility of higher education base on for profit business modal as of today, then the threat of a middle class student can not get a higher education will be very real since the low income family children had already faced the brunt of this privatization of higher education trend that had been going on for some time, many poor students are being forced to drop out after high school if they can't get a scholarship from a sponsor no matter how good their test result are. It is quite a shame trend like this is allowed to go on inside certain country.

I think that higher education is a rip off and a hassle but that it is also very necessary and will become more necessary as we continue to see jobs that don't require college degrees continue to get worse. I've already started to notice it, employers don't want to give their employees more than thirty hours a week so that way they don't have to pay for their medical insurance.
The wages at non-college degree jobs are also horrible and the hours are generally a struggle as well. I think that higher education is necessary so that way we don't get stuck doing jobs that do nothing for the world and that don't motivate us to work harder or anything like that. I'm just really sick of working meaningless jobs and I feel like I need to keep going with my education so that way I can actually do something that is worth my time with my life.

I always remember my father said 'Luck will never come to you if you don't make it'.
No matter how poor you are or how rich you are, you can always change something. Start from yourself, make small change and make it better day by day.

Education is very important these days since most employers prefer a college graduate. I feel sad to hear that there are smart people who are unable to go to school due to financial reasons. However, universities offer scholarship grants and financial aid to these students, giving them an opportunity to study and later on do well in their career despite lack of funds. You just have to excel in school and submit the necessary documents to qualify in their program.

Higher education is really very difficult to get as a middle class student. But when people are in higher school or in college they try to make some money by themselves. I also taught during my study lie also. Its not an easy task but to get higher education its necessary to work hard. You know when we work hard from childhood then we will be work hard in future also.
