Yesterday's Prayer Answered Today

In responding to a post yesterday, I asked for prayer for me to have another Villa to manage. Basically another part time job. Today my prayer was answered (Thanks for the prayers Anique Lady)
The Villa where I work is on four acres of prime beach front land and I met with one of the owners this morning. She told me that she and her brother have decided to tear down the Villa and build two Villas as he has five children and she has three and the time they want to spend at the Villa clashes with each other.
Work will begin next January. My heart did a flip flop as I felt that now I would be out of work.
But she assured me that they want me to manage both Villas at an increased salary and whilst bulding I would still get paid but they would appreciate me to visit regularly and report on progress as they live overseas.
I feel so good that at my age - which some consider elderly but I don't - my services are still required and that I will earn increased salary next year.
Call it prayer, coincidence, karma or just plain old fashioned good luck, I know that my prayer has been granted. And yes, I call it prayer.
Have you ever had a prayer answered so quickly? tomorrow I face the guests from he*l who will be in residence but for today - I just feel happy

Congrats, though I feel like I missed something here, didn't know you needed prayer in this, then again I could have missed. I love it when prayers are answered, even better when they are answered quickly. I can't remember the last prayer that was answered fast, but I do know that when I need extra cash, something comes up, either I get a payout here or on another site, or one of my neighbor's need me to do something for them. This last prayer was I have been trying to save up for a new vacuum I really need, (with two border collie/beagles shedding, this is a real need) but it seemed every time I turn around, my husband needs gas money. Well this week, I was asked to dog sit until Thursday evening, which would not have covered for the vacuum I want. Well, that turned into dogsitting until this afternoon, so not only will have money for the vacuum, but for a couple smaller items I need too..

That was pretty awesome. Increased salary and maybe double work too. But if you enjoy doing it then it won't be a problem. You call it as your prayer but it is possible that it was your deepest desire and you gave out positive vibes in the surroundings which eventually brought good things to you. Keep it up. Take care.

I consider that what has happened to you in this situation to be something that really is great luck. I mean not only are you going to be able to make a greater income next year, in the mean time you are going to get paid while not as much is going to be asked of you. This also means that you are going to have more time that you will be able to spend with your grandchildren.
I've never had a prayer answered so quickly but there have been plenty of times in my life where I've had a prayer answered for me.

I am so happy that I have something to look forward to as I am old but don't like to be dependent on my children. another US500 a month would make all the difference to me. I don't think that I have had it answered this quickly either

I hope that even with the visit form the 'guests from he*l', you're still feeling good about the prospect of managing these upcoming two villas.
I've had a lot of prayers answered relatively quick, but the one that usually stands out are the ones I make when my kids are sick.

I am so happy that you got a positive answered prayer! Do you know why I emphasized the word POSITIVE? It is because every prayer we have has an answer. But sad to say, sometimes the answer is NO. In my case, I had a prayer request back in 2011 I did not get the answer until yesterday. Sadly, the answer was NO. Did it turn me down on the power of prayer? Definitely not. I was just quite disappointed. I prayed so hard for this prayer to be positively answered but it still was a NO. I just consoled myself in prayer saying that perhaps, the best is yet to come and this particular prayer request isn't really for me after all. Perhaps, something greater is prepared and intended to be mine in the near future. I just have to have faith and figure it out soon. After all, prayers are granted positively to those who worked for it.

Yes, sometimes the answer is know and we have to have faith and trust in God because He always knows what is best fr us even though we do not see it at the time

When things do well for people, it's a good sign. people always look for 'signs', for me, 'signs' are meeting people online, or reading their stories, when good things have happened to them. hi cynthiann oh thats wonderful for you and I am truly glad to hear this. You deserve some good things in your life burdened down with your precious grand children as you are and so giving of love. That sounds really good the getting paid while they are building and
you will be their overseer so thats definitely something to look forward to this coming year too.Yes I had my own prayers for my son answered just before Christmas. He had had to get a large loan from
his employer so he could pay off the deposit down on his one bedroom apartment. but his boss wrote off the last 800 dollars as he was truly impressed with how my son had managed to make payments on the loan working only part time. So now too he is working full time. I had prayed to God that somehow that last debt would be lifted and it was. So I know He answers prayers.
